Mini blog: Quick note about angels and heaven

Not to be a party poop, but I just scanned quickly an article about a movie where "angels who come to earth to 'find out what it is like.'" Um, that whole idea is based on a false view of heaven and even with artistic license is a misleading disservice toward those of weak faith.

First of all, angels know all too well what earth is like. Guardian angels for each person who every lived, remember? Also the prominent angels who visit earth documented in the Bible who perform missions for God.

Trust me, angels who deal with earth "can't wait" to "return" to heaven.

See, heaven is so perfect that humans cannot imagine it. There is no curiosity about "life" because heaven is the pure source of all life. Being on earth is like being more than half dead, to an angel. People who go to heaven when they die experience the same overwhelming transportation into heavenly contentment and perfect bliss. I hate to break the news but it is so overwhelming that people do not "miss" those of their loved ones who are not there (yet, or truth be known, ever). The Bible is not lying (nor is the Qur'an) when it is described as a place of no tears, a garden of life, and perfect bliss in God's presence.

People who try to portray in the arts angels who lack knowledge of earth's experience have a hidden agenda where they are implying that the knowledge of angels (who Jesus reminds people, "always face God") is somehow incomplete or lacking. This is totally untrue. Angels know all too well what life is like on earth. Also there are idiotic script writers who think they are reincarnated angels or whatever. *Puke*
