Another creative writing/detox exercise

I hope that many of you enjoyed and found useful and thought provoking my previous blog entries suggesting ways to refresh one's creative writing process. The purpose is to lose many of the depressive, occult and anti-life, anti-God and anti-spiritual seepage that modern society and entertainment has imposed, especially on the young.

While having lunch today (pizza) I suddenly thought of another scenario that you could use as the basis for a creative writing exercise. As with my previous suggestions you can either fully develop the storyline or you can just use it as a point to think about and receive some creative inspiration. As always the story lines that I suggest may have an element of "fantasy" or "science fiction," but are firmly grounded in reality and what is easily possible and feasible. Whenever you write, strive for that yourself, since it keeps the mind and spirit from becoming toxic, where it only imagines the unfeasible (under the "anything is possible" delusion) and the relentlessly warlike or depressive.

Storyline:

Suppose that during the time that the Nazis were in power, both previous to and during World War II until their fall, they had a secret activity, one that would become obvious and virtually inescapable only after they had been defeated.

What if the Nazis had worked to infest all materials throughout the world with evidence of their insignia and sayings. For example, they would get a person in every factory in the world to secret within the manufacturing process an engraving of "Heil Hitler." So every automobile, for example, would have in the chassis those words engraved somewhere, and every automotive part that was made had initials, or dates, or that saying, or some other saying, or the swastika engraved. What if clothes makers in their hire hid within the folded hems of all clothes being manufactured Nazi sayings. So for example, within the cuff of trousers, or within the pocket of blue jeans, secret embroideries were placed. And what if within every book printed during those years, Nazi sympathizers inserted "Heil Hitler" in the spines of the book? Food containers would have special lettering hidden under the lid or the labels, or in the box flaps, and so forth. What if masons laid stones in houses, buildings, churches with such things carved?

Now, in this scenario, there is no point to their doing this other than to keep the wounds open forever, after they are gone. Do not develop this storyline the obvious modern way, which is that they do with with "special powers." Think of it as unbelievably comprehensive anticipatory stalking, and nothing else.

So the way this storyline works, even after the Nazis are defeated, the guilty are jailed or executed, and history unfolds exactly as it actually did (Beatles and all, Vietnam, etc...) everyone around the world is constantly reminded on a daily basis of Nazi dogma as their labels and slogans continue to inescapably pop up everywhere.

So........... develop in your story line what life and the human psyche would be like today if that occurred. Remember, history is exactly the same (for example, Mr. Obama is President now) with the only difference being that everyone everywhere receives constant daily unpleasant reminders of Nazi doctrine, even sewn into their underwear.

Suggestions to explore:

1. Do people become resigned and manage to "turn it off" or do they fight back and there is an industry formed of people who try to root out these continuous stalking messages?

2. How far can they go in rooting it out, if every home built during that era has something hidden in it about Nazis?

3. How would this have affected Shoah survivors and specifically Jews, both in and outside of Israel?

4. How would the priorities of the Israeli government differ if they too are burdened with this continuous stalking within all their products?

5. What would the schools be teaching kids about this problem? What would they teach and is it different than what you, as the creative author, think they should be teaching?

To get the right mindset, picture these as verbal and written IEDs. So just as IEDs have been a terrible weapon in Iraq, imagine Nazi verbal and pictorial "IEDs" that are planted absolutely everywhere, in secret places, found when least expected.

For example, your favorite shirt pocket tears and when you go to fix it there in the torn seams staring back at you is a tiny embroidery label of "Heil Hitler?"

Would this stalking eventually make modern kids curious and think that something so powerful as this plan must mean being a Nazi is worth looking into? Would society be dealing with half of its population freaked and wearied by this stalking, while the younger half has to battle being tempted and intrigued by it?

Think about it and sleep well. LOL.

Another reason to never believe in reincarnation

As regular readers of my blog know, I am often frustrated and infuriated by people who believe in "past lives" and "reincarnation," which does NOT exist. I do not have a problem with traditional Buddhist belief, even though it is based on this fallacious premise, because it is believed in a well meaning way by good hearted traditionalists. But many "converts" and cultist new agers believe in an activist and manipulative stance toward "past lives." Unlike the traditional faiths who believe in reincarnation as a cautionary moderating force on good behavior in their "current" life and nothing else, cultists believe they can "identify" who they "were" and also "identify" the "true past identities of others." Worse, they rationalize everything in life, both good and evil, in that context AND even worse than that, carry out beefs and persecutions based on "who" they think people "were," but also give themselves sinful perks and favors based on "suffering" they think they endured in "past lives," plus they assign to themselves of course inflated "past life" divine and spiritual "identities." This is not a problem of a few kooks; global salvation history has actually been harmed by these people and their "beliefs" and actions. The actual balance of people saved and redeemed at the end of their life, when they die and are judged by God, has shifted for the dramatically worse, as these people have resulted in many more people being cast into hell than you can imagine. This is on top of the day to day misery they have inflicted on the innocent who have been slapped with mean interpretations of "past lives" while these pigs rationalize their secret wealth and power as having been "deserved" because of their own "past lives." Instead, the reality is that they (and their followers and "believers") have slated themselves for hell after their ONE AND ONLY life is over and God turns them over to Satan for eternal torment.

And this is the point I want to raise to those of you who think you have "open minds" about this topic. Consider this. I was just reading about the most egregious of the Nazi "doctor" monsters who have eluded capture. As always I am totally in favor of going after them (the real monsters) like the hounds of hell. I donated $1000 to the Simon Wiesenthal Center back in the 1980's with that in mind. It infuriates me that several of the monsters have eluded capture.

Having said that, since I know what God judges, I know that even those who totally elude capture will be "caught" when they die and God casts them to hell where their fellow demon spawn will tear them to pieces in the flames for all eternity.

So I especially have trouble understanding what the F*** people are thinking when they believe in reincarnation, especially when these people are lukewarm Jews and Christians, who even being lukewarm in their faith ought to be very, very clear about understanding God's stern and complete judgement of each person based on their life, with heaven or hell the two inevitable possibilities of outcome. How can a total idiot, such as a Jewish convert I know to his brand of new age Buddhism (you know, the usual astrology and numerology thrown in), like these sorts believe that Nazi monsters are reincarnated? I mean, it takes a lot of dope (both types) to think that saints are not rewarded with heaven and monsters are not cast into hell. These people are so stupid that they actually think that the two extremes of grace and evil actually "come back to earth for more lessons." WHAT THE F*** LESSONS WOULD BE LEFT TO "LEARN" FOR EITHER A TOTAL MONSTER OR A TOTAL SAINT? You just have to be the idiot of the century to think that Nazi monsters are reincarnated and therefore, you can deduce, that no one is reincarnated. It is one life and you are judged, PERIOD, end of "lessons."

So as I was thinking about this I thought that this would be one more case study in discernment and detoxing from cult puke that helps people who have "open minds" to see through the steaming garbage that cultist belief in "past lives" is in total. If the universe is all "in balance" and "beautiful" where everyone is "groovy" and "in search of enlightenment," why the freaking hell would the universe have a "program" that would allow Nazi monsters to be reincarnated and not punished? I mean, what, if they are born poor in a trailer park you figure that is their "punishment?" Wow, yeah, that really balances things out. Or, you then, because your mind is full of crap, imagine the opposite scenario: "OOOOh, I get it! Nazi monsters are reincarnated as good people, so they can 'make up' for all the baaaaaaad things they did!" So you idiotic a**holes cannot even make up your minds between the two opposite scenarios! What fools you are, what wicked and stupid fools.

Young people, pay attention to this example. When people make things up they can adeptly argue both sides. They will tell you that Nazi monsters are reborn to be punished, and if you refute that, they will flip and tell you that Nazi monsters are reborn in order to be good and make it up to people. This is a very easy way to detect bull crap.

A pause to remember Warsaw ghetto

WARSAW - The last surviving leader of the 1943 Warsaw ghetto uprising paid silent tribute yesterday to the young Jews who launched the doomed revolt against Nazi troops 65 years ago.

Marek Edelman, 89, handed yellow tulips and daffodils to his grandchildren, Liza and Tomek. He watched as they placed them at the foot of the gray-and-black Monument to the Heroes of the Ghetto, located in a barren square at the heart of the former ghetto.

The uprising was the first act of large-scale armed civilian resistance against the Germans in occupied Poland during World War II. The Nazis walled off the ghetto in November 1940, cramming 400,000 Jews from across Poland into it, under inhuman conditions.

On April 19, 1943, German troops started to liquidate the ghetto by sending tens of thousands of its residents to death camps. In the face of imminent death, several hundred young Jews took up arms in defense of the civilians.

They held off German troops for three weeks with homemade explosives and a cache of smuggled weapons. The uprising ended when its main leaders - rounded up by the Nazis - committed suicide on May 8, 1943. The Nazis then razed the ghetto, street by street.

Just a personal observation. My father was an American soldier during World War II, an Army paratrooper in the 101st and the 82nd Airborne Division. As a child I remember well two books we have in the family that he had obtained and kept. (This is very significant because we did not have a home library; to this day I only have two books, historical romantic novels, that he read for pleasure. Poor people used the library and only had the Bible as their personal book at home). But we had these books because they had photographs taken by the soldiers as they liberated the concentration camps, but they were not rescue photos. They were photos of the skeletal bodies they found, piled up to be dumped into open pits. These photos showed evidence of the physical hell on earth that humans had created for themselves. My brother, who was born in Germany during WWII and adopted by our dad, has custody of those two books. It is important that we continue to bear witness by listening to those who were there, who saw what happened, and who lived through it. My dad fell in love with and married a German lady (my mother), but he had no love lost for the Nazis, fighting and killing them into the heart of the Nazi empire. (My father was wounded by gun fire, shot through his left arm, but he returned to action with a cast on his arm. He also had his front teeth knocked out by a Nazi soldier's rifle butt, but my dad returned to action with dentures! ;-) As a small child I wondered why my dad had dentures, until I was old enough to understand the combat story.

My admiration for the man, Mr. Edelmen, profiled in the above article, who fought and survived, bearing witness.

One of the perfect components of the perfect address that Pope Benedict gave yesterday to youth and seminarians is his witness to what Nazis did, and what humans continue to have the capacity to do, both physically and spiritually:

My own years as a teenager were marred by a sinister regime that thought it had all the answers; its influence grew – infiltrating schools and civic bodies, as well as politics and even religion – before it was fully recognized for the monster it was. It banished God and thus became impervious to anything true and good. Many of your grandparents and great-grandparents will have recounted the horror of the destruction that ensued. Indeed, some of them came to America precisely to escape such terror.

Let us thank God that today many people of your generation are able to enjoy the liberties which have arisen through the extension of democracy and respect for human rights. Let us thank God for all those who strive to ensure that you can grow up in an environment that nurtures what is beautiful, good, and true: your parents and grandparents, your teachers and priests, those civic leaders who seek what is right and just.

The power to destroy does, however, remain. To pretend otherwise would be to fool ourselves. Yet, it never triumphs; it is defeated. This is the essence of the hope that defines us as Christians...
