Catholic Church sex abuse scandal

I'm going to repeat what I've said before, and I will continue to say this every time that I am asked.

I believe that anyone who mishandled sexual abuse within the Church, sexual abuse being both a devastating crime and a sin, should resign their office, whether as a cardinal, bishop or parish priest. I don't really care about the circumstances of whether it was a "minor" or "major" involvement in the mishandling because all of that corrodes faith, whether by small bits of rust and tarnish or large egregious lack of good sense and/or integrity. If it was mishandling and not actual participation in the abuse, I believe that upon resigning the office that these cardinals, bishops and priests should dedicate themselves within religious orders that are contemplative and filled with prayer.

There is supposed to be no "ego" in serving the Lord God, and thus any cardinal, bishop or priest should be gratified to relinquish their offices and in turn become one hundred percent dedicated to the life of prayer, particularly addressing prayer for both the victims of the abuse and for renewal of the priesthood.

People, listen to me carefully, whatever your faith (or not) or beliefs. For decades humanity has teetered on the brink of a total meltdown into depravity. These priest sex abuse cases are, in the sense of showing the incurable addiction of lust and depravity, no different from what we are seeing in society as a whole. I know you want to say, "Hold on, how can that be? Priests are supposed to be different!" Yes, in an ideal world they are supposed to be different, but look at the world today. Are not mothers "supposed to be different?" Yet every week we read about mothers who sell and trade the sexual innocence of even their infants for money, car payments, access to drugs, or some other trivial transaction. Are not teachers supposed to be "different?" Yet every week we read about teachers with child pornography and those who seduce and/or molest children they have access to, in that position of "trust." Are not "those who have been abused themselves" supposed to be "making sure what happened to them never happens to other children?" Yet we know that many of the most violent criminals use the excuse of their own, often horrifying, suffering of child abuse, and far from being protective, they enact their rage on other innocent adults and children. Are not police supposed to be "better than that?" Yet pressuring sex trade workers is a long going problem among police, so long that it has even been the stuff of jokes.

EVERYONE is supposed to be "better than that" but NO ONE IS anymore.

Catholic priests are just as subject to falling into the pit of depravity and vice as anyone else. I know that it seems out of proportion, but hear me now and believe me later. If you start looking at how many children have been molested by their own parents, or baby mama's "boyfriend," and by purveyors of porn, soon we will have a population that has more saying "yes" they've been abused than "no." Abuse has become the "new normal."

You'd have to be living under a rock to not realize that this society has fallen further and further into filth and depravity, and no "group" is "should be better at being pure" than anyone. I've seen some think that married priests or "more women" in the "church hierarchy" will "help." I'd laugh if this was not such a dire, world and soul killing problem. Yeah, women, such pillars of virtue, as they teach their kids to pole dance, wear thongs, offer them for sex to get themselves money or drugs, seduce their male students, etc. So please do not trivialize a worldwide soul destroying crisis of monumental proportion by suggesting this is a "celibate male" problem.

I marvel that God has not burned down this filthy depraved world already. Then I guess you would not have to worry about those priests, huh?

Victims, I know what you have been through as I've been abused, but not by priests, but by those who mettle with sorcery. But victims, I urge you to not be victimized twice. Do not let the outrageous scandal of the Catholic priest sex abuse problem cause you to also lose faith in the Church and in God. If you do, you will be victimized twice and God will not, I repeat, not understand your abandonment of God and his church.

I am not being harsh but realistic. What do you think was done to the early Christians of the Church? Do you think they were not abused and tormented in every way possible, including children? Yet they hung on to their faith to the end. God and the Church remain, no matter what individuals do, both within and outside of the Church. Running away does not make God go away, nor does it invalidate the Church. You can deny all you want but remember, human beings put to death the only pure and sinless man, Jesus Christ, and he proclaimed God with his last breath on the cross.

I will give you an analogy to help. Suppose you read in the paper that someone drowned while swimming in the ocean. Bad ocean, bad water. We no longer believe in water because it drowned someone. Stop bathing and showering. Stop drinking water. Tell everyone you know that water is "bad" and you "no longer believe in water." What will happen? You die of thirst in a matter of days.

No matter what the pain of life it is simply insane and not at all "understandable" that someone "lose their faith in God or the church." It's an unhealthy coping mechanism to think that because one is a victim of bad human behavior that suddenly the overall truth of the world (God and the Church) "no longer mean anything to you." That, my children, is being victimized twice. God will not nod his head in your meeting with him at personal judgment when you perish and say, "Hey, I know, a really bad thing happened to you, so it's A-OK with me that you 'lost your faith' and 'stopped believing in Me' or 'decided my Church was invalid.' Sure, I know that I, God, and my Church are not worth staying and fighting for, even through the pain."

Children, God is pure Truth. If you get only one thing about God in this particular message, understand that God is pure and total truth. God cannot be anything but the sum total of all that is true, that ever will be true, and ever could be true. When you grasp that you realize that God never changes and that while he cares very much for each person, when a person denies God no matter what the reason, they are in danger of not entering heaven at all, because being God's dwelling place, heaven is also pure truth.

The way to healing and to sanity is by embracing more truth, not less.

Cleansing the palete, writing and thoughts

The palate is a part of the mouth. The term "cleansing the palate" is often used when referring to wine or food tasters, who eat something bland to remove the taste of the previously sampled item before assessing the taste of the next item. In other words, one removes the after taste so that it does not infiltrate the next bite or sip. Meals of several courses are often planned with that in mind, if not in actually providing an intermediary palate cleanser, then at least planning the order of courses so that a previous dish or beverage does not overpower the next one or ruin the flavor through unplanned combination.

The societal lack of "cleansing the palate" is one of the greatest obstacles to achieving, or even commencing, sanctity today. For example, one of my least favorite activities is to have my mind set on writing a blog posting that glorifies God, but I am interrupted with the need to blog about the dirtier works and sins of humans. However, because my heart, mind and spirit are always turned toward God, even as my fingers have to type less pleasant (but vital soul saving) blog entries, I do not have to "cleanse the palate" of my spirit and my mind, since my heart is always turned to God. White bread is often used as a gourmet palate cleanser, and so it does not seem a coincidence that one can think of God, through Jesus Christ, the living bread and staff of life, and remain cleansed in one's heart, mind and soul even when one must discuss distasteful things, such as sin and depravity in modern society, and the consequences of hell fire for all eternity.

However, since the vast majority of humans are not sanctified to God, but I do believe that many wish to be (however, they confuse it with the egocentric objective of being "very spiritual"), you need to realize that society and its dirt are a barrier to sanctification, as it requires extraordinary effort these days to "cleanse one's palate."

Let me introduce an old time admonishment, that is slang and said casually. In the old days when someone said something dirty (as in pornographic), profane (toward God), or cussed, often the listener would reply to that person, "You kiss your mother with that mouth?!"

This was in more innocent and good hearted days when often that admonishment was actually enough to make the hardened bad talker stop and be somewhat abashed. That's like back in the days when moms weren't competing to be as dirty as the celebrities, and when their children upheld their mother's level of decency. So yes, a simple expression like that caused many a cusser or dirty talker to stop in his tracks and blush. He would genuinely be ashamed to think of what had come out of his mouth, and that yes, that is the mouth that would kiss his mom on the cheek. That admonishment was a verbal palate cleanser.

Today it is just about impossible to cleanse the palate, spiritually. I don't mean to cleanse the palate to do some high and mighty worshipping or great spiritual work. I mean to go back to the normal state that one should be in nearly one hundred percent of the time! One should be living a life of having a cleansed palate, but one that is interrupted on occasion by the realities of life.

I'm not speaking of cussing here. I am speaking of living constantly within the increasing dirtiness of the world.

Here is an example of those who have to struggle because of the dirt of the world. It used to be that if you were a law enforcement official, it would be a very rare event when one had to investigate child pornography, child solicitation or child rape. The average cop might encounter one horrific example in his or her entire career! And that event would, of course, be a very low point and one that he or she not only had to prevent from depressing them, but also did not bring the sadness of it home to their family.

Now look at what the world, through human beings own choices, has brought to this example. Entire police departments have to assign full time officers to trolling through the filth of the Internet, identifying and capturing pedophiles and other child abusers. These officers have to look at more in FIVE MINUTES than most cops had to look at in their entire career. It is impossible for law enforcement people to ever cleanse their palates or have a cleansed palate, because they are standing within the tidal wave of filth.

I worry about professionals, and amateurs, who do this type of work with sincere hearts because I know that despite what they may say, it changes them forever and is a soul robbing experience. People often bandy about praying to the Archangel Michael, but this is an example where I recommend that those who must, because of their vocation, wade in such palate destroying filth, that they look at Michael as a role model, as the archangel who faces the worst of what Satan is, and yet remains totally pure and sanctified to God. Think of his role modeling as a palate cleanser. Also, do not be an egomaniac who thinks you are not affected and can do this for years at a time. Wading in filth, even for a "noble purpose" is a barrier to sanctity and your process of sanctification. Why? Because it takes up space in your mind and your heart, even as you combat it, that ought to be set only on the pure sights of God. You are having to "kiss God's cheek" with that mouth.

Isaiah 6:5-7
Then I said, "Woe is me, I am doomed! For I am a man of unclean lips, living among a people of unclean lips; yet my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!" Then one of the seraphim flew to me, holding an ember which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

He touched my mouth with it. "See," he said, "now that this has touched your lips, your wickedness is removed, your sin purged."

Isaiah, the greatest of the prophets who prophesied the Messiah, Jesus Christ, knew that even as pure as he was, he could not be living as a human among humans with filthy lips without being at risk once he faces God, so upon the sight of God he is terrified of this knowledge. God respects this wisdom exhibited by Isaiah and thus the seraphim cleanses Isaiah's lips with burning coals from God's own altar. This is why you can look to God and his angels, such as Michael, with confidence and trust if you, through no fault of your own, are put within the filth of the times.

But what about the vast majority of people who wallow in and produce the filth? What about the many mothers today who purchase "booty enhancing" jeans and who have "tramp stamps" tattooed over their rear ends? Why should their children worry about with what lips they kiss such mothers?

It is impossible to have the television on, or the radio, to keep one company, as I used to like to do, without now being subjected to a "Viva Viagra" commercial about how long a man can have an erection, or some thinly veiled reference to oral sex. How many of you turn off the TV or the radio the instant that such filth comes on? Not so many I reckon. How many of you hold stock in those companies, or work behind the scenes on that type of marketing, all day every day? How can one be sanctified, have a cleansed palate for God in your average day, when you are in the tidal wave, either willingly or unwillingly, of filth?

Young people, this is one of the things I am trying to help you to understand, a time that was gone before you were born, but has become worse each year, as you've been growing up and have become young adults. Do not worry that I am being a fun destroying prude, LOL. If you think that, reread the example I have used, which is of the average police officer who maybe once in his entire career encountered terrible child pornographic filth or solicitation. Do not believe the liars of today who say it "always was there but just hidden." I mean, duh, how dumb do they think you are? Cell phones, computers, message boards and the Internet did not exist. Thus there was no way to cultivate the occasional pervert's taste into violent addictive action as there is today. Today there is a field full of weeds, rather than a field of wheat that would have the occasional, easily identified and controlled weed. You have been given, deliberately, or at the very least because they have been asleep at the wheel, a society of a destroyed cleansed palate, by your parents and their parents.

The sickening spread and virtual explosion of violence against even the tiniest infants (and even pet animals) and the total perversion of the beauty of intimacy, including sex, is happening because people are not living the way they used to be, which was with mental and spiritual cleansed palates... ones that they knew had to be restored to that normalcy of the cleansed palate, in between encounters with that which is unclean.

But to be unclean and uncleansed is the "new normal." That is the shocking and still, for me, who have seen this with my own eyes, the most difficult thing to comprehend how society has imploded and rotted from within, while calling that being "liberated." I don't think the police who spend their entire shifts hunting the worst baby raping perverts that have ever existed among humans feel particularly "liberated." I don't feel liberated when I sit down to blog and someone on the radio makes an oral sex allusion. Do you feel liberated, really? Young people, you certainly should not feel liberated. You have been chained in a meat market, out of reach of the place of the cleansed palate. Thus you cannot enjoy as you should the goodness of intimacy, of passion, or handle appropriately confrontations with filth, when they occur. Genuine liberation is to be able to operate from a clean base of stability, and thus you have a wide range of appropriate responses.

So if you are interested in being sanctified, as every human being should, which means to put God and his will first and foremost in your life, so that you can reap all the goodness of life as it exists now and have hope for the eternal bliss, you must be aware of the tide that you take for granted as "normal" that brings unclean and unease into your spirits and hearts, hindering sanctification. Shut it down, the unclean, wherever and whenever it is in your reach. Don't "put up with it" (like letting the TV drone on with filth) because as I said, as the holy man Isaiah knew, it besmirches even the unwilling.

What can you do on a practical level? First of all, this is one reason why frequent daily prayer is so helpful. People have started thinking too much of prayer as "asking God for something." Realize, instead, and remember that prayer is the ultimate palate cleanser. Prayer neutralizes filth because it removes you from it as you realign and reset your focus on what is true and good. So prayer is not just a tool for asking God for help. Prayer is the ultimate palate cleanser.

Then, as I have alluded to above, make your own space as clean as possible. For example, I stop visiting news web sites that when I click on them I immediately have some gigantic picture of fat boobs stuffed in my virtual face. Don't give them your clicks and don't let them plant those images with you. So clean up your space even though it's a daily battle, but think of weeding out the field (not taking weed, LOL). If you pull out each one as it pops up, eventually they diminish.

Also, be a trend setter and set your own example. Like I said I am no dreary prude. But there is a heck of a difference between a sharp dressed young man or woman and one who feels that I and the world need to see their tramp stamp or booty crack. There is a quiet young man who sometimes comes in for pizza where I regularly lunch and I totally love his clothes. He is so hip and yet modest. If you cultivate your own cleansed palate of taste in your own dignity and hipness, then your posse and others will follow you. You will be helping everyone with their own hip sanctification! Seriously, you do not want to be the one, like so many girls today, who wants to show off her stuff to every guy, hoping that guy goes home and hates his wife or girlfriend for not being as "hot" as her. Trust me, she'll be "hot" alright, in a way she eternally regrets. Again, this is not because God doesn't like showing off the human body. It's because God knows the hearts of all and their every thought, and he knows when people dress slutty so that they can harm the custody of the eyes and hearts, and thus sanctity and happiness, of others. Marketing people and greedy merchants better wise up to that too. How many erotic commercials fuel child molester fantasies? A lot of them and I know because as I said, I know what crime and society was like "before" and "after."

Detoxing from pornography

And just a quick word about the dire danger of pornography. It is not an issue of being a "prude." Pornography, as it exists today, works to erode a human's sanity and their survival ability. Pornography, as it exists today (not as it used to be, which was difficult to get, much softer in its presentation, and an almost rare "treat" event, rather than an addiction) erodes one's very health, one's very soul, one's coping mechanisms for life in general and, ultimately, destroys all chance of genuine love and intimacy, either with another human being or, in a spiritual sense, with God. Porn addiction can be thought of as being like someone so addicted to drugs that they stop drinking water or eating food, and they starve to death, but in this case, pornography blocks normal life, normal brain processes, normal intimate relationships and, ultimately, the normal state of the soul.

Do everything that you can to break your own addiction, or to do an intervention for family members, friends or work colleagues to help them understand the above dangers, and that it is not a question of being "liberated" or that those who warn of the danger of pornography are "just prudes." Pornography will place a person in an earthly hell first, because it estranges them from real normal life and the comfort of sane real intimacy, and secondly, in the actual hell after death, because it becomes as powerful an idol as if one was worshiping Beelzebub, and when one is estranged from God by continually selecting a corrupting alternative as one's priority, one ends up in hell when one is judged by God at one's death.

I cannot over-emphasize how much porn has ruined mental and spiritual health and has been a prime reason in many-including self proclaimed "saved" Christians-from NOT, I repeat, not achieving salvation in heaven.

Too much false shame, not enough real shame

The human body and its functions, both those of intimacy and those of natural processes, are nothing to be ashamed of. It is ironic that rather than being more enlightened in this regard people have become laden with shame about the human body.

The reason that is happening is that people lack enough shame in how they promote usage of the blameless shame free body. For example porn and sexually explicit entertainment people ought to be ashamed that they are promoting exploitation and degradation of the human body and its functions.

It is one of the great lies that those who use sex in entertainment are "celebrating the beauty of the human body." That they are most certainly not doing. What they are doing is pimping for sexual dysfunction and promoting amateur and professional sex trade mentality. THAT is what they should be ashamed about.

Thus, let's look at stalking. The person who is photographed naked by a stalker has nothing to be ashamed of, although embarrassment is natural among many people who are so cruelly victimized. However, the stalker is usually the first hypocrite who claims that the human body is "beautiful" and "natural," but what they do with the exploitation of both the victim and the viewers belies their proper placement of shame.

Everyone in the media, including advertisers, who focus so much on nakedness, intimate acts and bodily functions in the flogging of their products claim they are just "getting the information out there" and being "liberating" because there is "nothing to be shamed about." They are being deliberately deceiving. No, there is nothing shameful about nakedness, intimate acts, or bodily functions, but their explicit marketing of them for money, entertainment, or cruelty is degrading to humanity.

Here is an example that is separate from what I am speaking of, but will best explain through analogy my point.

I had a dear friend, a man, one who is remarkable in both being a "regular guy" and also his very interesting life experiences. He's a guy who one would never run out of fascinating things to talk about, what he has done, who he knows and his interests. But he decided to no longer be a guy of many interests, but he is now "gay." His entire identity and all he wants to talk about with me is gay, gay, gay. In other words, rather than being a composite of being an average guy and an extraordinary guy, with tons of dimensions, one of those dimensions being that he is gay, he has packaged himself and will only communicate with me as being one dimension, being gay.

Suppose you had a friend who was a shoe maker. What if he refused to speak to you unless it was about shoes? EVER. He dressed like a shoe, lived in a shoe, would only speak in words that have to do with shoe or rhyme with shoe, and refused to discuss any topic that does not involve shoes. This is what my gay friend has become. He has no identity or interest in life except being gay.

This is what it is like when people claim they love the human body, yet then exploit it constantly in the media, and personally. It is a warping and a skewing of what is only one thread out of the total fabric of life. Sex, being naked, doing intimate acts and having bodily functions are only individual threads out of the entire fabric of a man or a woman. Coarse and exploitative entertainment, advertising and stalking pull that one thread of life out of context and rub people's faces in it repeatedly, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again until they have ruined the "naturalness" they claim to tout.

This is how my gay friend is. I wish I could just go to a restaurant with him, discuss his car or his airplane, shop for clothes, or just hang out together and discuss how one's day went. But all he wants to talk about is gay, gay, gay. He's no longer an uncle: he's a gay guy. He's no longer the guy who smiled about his first car: he's a gay guy. He no longer wants to talk about himself, unless it is about how he is gay. Before he broke off with me as a friend I would have to strain to find ways to discuss being gay with him for hour after hour after hour. Literally, he would insist on speaking of being gay for hours on end and refuse to make even one sentence comments on any other subject. I'm not joking when I say that I think he has studied if he can replace the entire twenty six A through Z English language alphabet with only the three letters A, G and Y. Likewise, I think that he no longer wishes to use the numerical digits 1 through 9 but only the numbers 6 and 9. I'm not joking.

Likewise the constant pimping in the media of nakedness, intimate acts and bodily functions render humans into nothing else but skin bags, rectum holes (for sex or gas) and pimps and procuresses (that's an old fashioned word for female pimps) for 'careers' or 'self images' to the young to think of themselves that way, as pieces of a whole rather than the entire human being.

So no, there is nothing to be ashamed about in the human body, but yes, there is something that everyone should be ashamed about, which is the dehumanizing of the the dignity of the human body in an overall life context, and not as a weapon or recruiting agent in a visual war of coarsening dehumanizing.

I'm just the messenger; you all better listen

As I have repeatedly told people throughout my life, I'm not making this stuff up, nor am I revelating: I am just the messenger of what has always been and always will be, without change. God has already provided an abundance of information, love, tolerance and grace; there is nothing that I nor anyone else can add to his message, not one iota. Further, I have explained repeatedly that God is the all knowing.

Therefore, when someone like me comes across something disgraceful and disgusting, such as pornographic blasphemy, this is my first thought. "How can this moron not realize that God knows everything that he or she has done, even before he or she created this monstrosity?" God knows every thought even before you have it, and so obviously God knows all about the blasphemy and the porn. I am hardly necessary to be God's "eyes." Further, even if I was the last to know (and I'm not), that does not make one iota of difference. As I said, God knows everything that anyone says, does, thinks and intends to do, and their motivation, including the joy that they get from demeaning and degrading others, even if the works are not publicly displayed. So my first thought is, "Here we have another moron who somehow thinks that anything is 'possible' and is all 'open minded,' yet they are so moronic that they don't realize the obvious truth that God is all knowing of everything they do."

So why does God not strike down someone who does such harm, such as producing pornographic blasphemy and, worse, inculcating his or her own family to share the psychosis that underlies such a worldview? To summarize what I have repeatedly explained to people:

1.) God has taught the reality of earthly life, followed by either heaven or hell for individuals according to their disbelief and their deeds, repeatedly and clearly, in many languages, over the centuries, to many prophets. So God has been very clear about the ground rules and the reality.

2.) God has also made clear that humans have to live among each other, make their own decisions, and have free will. This free will sometimes mean people opt for hell, and drag a lot of people along with them. By the way, don't paint pictures of people smiling in hell (unless it's a funny cartoon) because let me tell you to your virtual face, there is not a single person who is doing anything but screaming their burning guts out in hell. Period.

3.) Because God has given humans free will within a perfectly clear code of conduct and expectations, with very clear statement of consequences, you are expected to self regulate. This is why until recently one's own family would put to death a pornographic blasphemer. It is only in the last century have the average people tolerated physical and spiritual perversion, as they have lost touch with the reality of the consequences of a very real hell. So God does not prune human behavior via smiting because humans have no hope of surviving in life (say nothing of salvation) if they are not responsible and sane self-regulating adults, and they have to learn that themselves just as they have to learn to wash their hands after going to the toilet.

4.) One cannot make assumptions about God's approval of a person and that person's lifespan. I cannot believe I have to explain this in "Moron 101" class, but people live or die according to genetics, ability to have life sustaining food and water, disease, accident and mishap. I mean, you have thousands of years of billions of people and you are too stupid to realize that people do not live according to their sanctity or evil (or the vast in between) but according to biology and behavior? The village idiot who could not read two hundred years ago understood that; why can't you?

5.) When God does "smite" someone, it usually happens in one of two ways, and for, as you will see, the same logic but for different purposes:

a.) God has been known to smite or call to him someone who is worth bringing to heaven, but is on the road of such dire sin that if he or she continues with that sin, he or she will lose heaven and merit hell. This is explained when God called to him King Solomon when Solomon started in his old age worshipping idols because of the influence of his many pagan wives. God knows all and obviously sees the track that one is on and this is why the Bible documents very clearly what happened to the much loved King Solomon; God took him, took his life, so that he could still achieve the heaven he had merited before throwing it all away in unforgivable sin.

Far from being comforted that one has not been "smited," aged wicked sinners should be very afraid that God is not smiting them because he has already written them off as willfully hell bound. I have frequently looked on the face or works of such people, knowing that their smugness will not last a second after they die, no matter how long they live or how powerful they think that they are. No, there are no smug faces in hell either, and one need not worry about how young or old one was when one gets there, because eternity = eternity.

b.) When God does smite a sinner, young, middle aged or old, it is usually accomplished like this. God allows the consequences of their sin to catch up with them. To use an old saying, "He lets the chips fall where they may." Sinners, the big time sinner, usually share one thing in common. They lose focus on details, such as safety, because they are too busy thinking how wonderful and spiritual they are, or where they are going to perform the next looting. As a result they are not always the most prudent of people. Sin affects health too, and brings on cancer, heart disease and so forth, not as punishment but because a sinful life often releases the same destructive agents such as stress within the body, invoking the natural ailments.

Thus when God wants to smite, he usually just has to wait for time and consequences to suddenly "SNAP!" Big time sinners, since they do not believe, often put themselves (and others) in dangerous situations, since they lose all sense of mortality and humility, not only for themselves but for others. God and the guardian angels just stand there and watch.

It is ironic that the very people who most quote, "What goes around comes around, it's 'karma!"" are the most dumbfounded and stupid when the "karma" bus runs them over and instead of being "punked by Ashton" they realize it's no joke when they die and are judged to hell, "You've been smited by God!"

By the way, those who are cast into hell don't get to "hang around" being "judged by God..." they never see him. Vengeful angels of God cast the damned straight into hell; they never get to state their "spin."

6.) One of the big clues that people should have that the Catholic Church is the Apostolic church created and headed by Jesus Christ is that the Church opposes the death penalty for criminals. Why is this a clue? Because the Catholic Church, in its humility, refuses to give up on a single person, hoping that even the most wicked in life imprisonment will have a repentance and spiritual conversion experience. This is what being the Vicar of Jesus Christ really means. This does not mean that the Catholic Church is saying that God himself never smites. The Catholic Church in its wisdom and mercy prays for the maintenance of every life to the natural end, so that there is maximum chance for grace, repentance and salvation.

It is therefore doubly ironic and extremely unappreciated by God when the wicked, such as pornographic blasphemers, target the very personages beloved in the Catholic Church, such as Mary, who maintain the maximum potential for mercy and salvation for the very people who harm them. Read about the angry angels in Revelations, how they will cast the burning censer down upon those whose stench of sin continually rises up to heaven. Talk about people who bite the hand that would feed them; the very Catholics who fight to maintain the length of even the most wicked peoples lives so that they might find for themselves a chance to be saved are hurt, mocked, defamed, and spiritually or physically violated, rather than being appreciated and thanked. So no, it's not like God is against the death penalty; rather, he loves the Church that maintains the most hope for even the most dire sinner.

7.) How sane is it when people, such as the pornographic blasphemer, drag their family, their friends, their colleagues, and the public at large down the same dangerous road as they? The same people who claim to care about others so deeply and will demonstrate it in routine life ways, even being "generous," do not care that their depraved dark worldview, like a virus, infects and destroys those who they "care" about? Jesus warned the most dire warning possible about those who lead children into sin for this very reason; for all that one sins, when one leads the young into the same sin, salvation becomes impossible as those sins cannot be "overlooked," "forgiven," or purified in purgatory. Those who die in a state of having corrupted others, especially the young, can count on being damned; there is no pretty way to put it.

Analogy to understand damage of porn/child porn

I had already signed off for the evening but when reading another horrible news story about the rape and murder of a six year old girl, I thought of an analogy to help you social libs to understand why porn, especially child porn, is so dangerous. (This is totally beside the fact that porn is not "victimless," since obviously a child was victimized in the producing of it, and is re-victimized each and every time the porn is distributed and viewed).

Those of you who engage in outdoor activities are aware that there is a constant danger if a predatory animal, let's say a bear or a lion, loses its fear of humans. The bear or the lion then starts hanging around human areas, possibly raiding houses and garbage. They become a "nuisance bear" or a "nuisance lion." We read about this all the time. Often what animal control officers will do it trap the nuisance animal and move it to a remote area, if it does not seem dangerous.

This is the erroneous image of porn viewers by libs. They think that it is "private" behavior and if it is a nuisance, then you take away the porn or isolate the person from potential victims.

The correct view of porn is the third step in the "normal human fearing predator" to "nuisance not human fearing predator," which is "the predator views the human as potential food." Animal control officers know that a predator, again, let's say a lion or a bear, who attacks, draws blood and takes a bite out of a human now views that human as being a newly discovered legitimate source of food. Animal control officers now know they must destroy the animal, since it is no longer a "nuisance animal" but a "human killer." The old fashioned term for a lion who did that was a "man killer."

The viewing of porn changes the wiring of the human brain so that acts they would never have thought of doing, like the predatory animal, now becomes viewed as "feasible." So libs are wrong to think that porn viewing, especially child porn, but even "regular" porn because of its continually message of "all sexual partners open access all the time," falls in the nuisance bear or lion analogy, and needs to just be "managed" or "limited." Humans have NEVER been "programmed" to think that sex is "always available." Porn has destroyed human mental wiring so that there is a (and that's why they are called predatory) predatory of the eyes and the libido that is exactly the same as an animal that loses its taste for normal animal prey and now thinks that humans are a food option.

I am not exaggerating in the least. It has nothing to do with being a prude. It's understanding the incredible damage that has been done to everyone's brains by the proliferation of pornography, and especially child porn.

For example, I read about an ex-cop who took home child porn evidence instead of destroying it, and used it to feed what became, allegedly, criminal sexual abuse. I have long worried about the damage to law enforcement, juries and others who must view this material, by the way. I don't worry they will become abuses, but viewing that material, even in the course of law enforcement or social work and counseling, has the same brain wiring changes, and at the very least adds to what I would call intimacy stress in normal adult relationships (and also around one's own or other children, as one may even become too cautious and compensatory in result of viewing porn).

But back to the important point, which is the porn user and producer. Viewers of porn and especially child porn (which is hard to avoid as models are either young or "young appearing") cross a built in boundary in their human brain wiring when they view porn, just as does a bear or lion who takes his first bite (even if it was accidental or self defense at first) and realizes that humans taste like easy to catch regular food. A human killing predator's brain wiring is instantly changed the minute that it realizes that the humans they feared are actually easy to catch and consume food. That is why animal control officers must kill them.

Another example is sharks. Experts explain that sharks think that human legs, arms and so forth might be legitimate prey since at a glance and with poor eyesight they look like fluttering fish. Sharks often take, experts explain, a "test bite." But most sharks quickly realize that the test bite is of something it does not want to eat. Sharks do not have that instant "brain wiring change" that land based predators have, like bears and lions. Sharks mostly look for a "profile," which is small fish and only the very largest go for an animal as big as a young seal, which still is very different from the profile of a human. So sharks do not tend to become "human eaters" since the human is large and not fitting the profile of what they want to (or need to) eat, which is mostly fish.

So the human porn viewer is not able to reject the "test bite" the way that a shark rejects human hunting because humans do have a "response," which is arousal, upon viewing porn. It "feels like the right food," to use the shark analogy. So like a lion or a bear who accidentally discovers that humans can be killed and eaten without fear, humans instantly have a brain wiring change when they view porn.

The first instant brain change is that sex flips from being "an occasion" to "something continually available." Animals, including humans, used to be controlled by an estrus period, which is where there is no sexual drive except during a cyclical period of fertility (for both male and female). Humans evolved to be sexually available outside of the monthly estrus cycle, so humans lack the biological barrier to the "continuous sex wiring" that porn induces. Society evolved so that men were very motivated to marry young so that they have sex made available to them, with their spouse. Jokes aside, this was more than adequate for the vast majority of humans in their existence. And of course there was the prostitution option, used by humans who are far away from their spouse (military service, travel, etc). So while humans had a continual interest in sex that was freed from estrus cycle, their brain wiring preserved a self control and a sense of timing where sex was not ever felt as being a "continuously available option." Men did not walk down the street thinking of humping all the time. So porn instantly flips the actual wiring of the human evolved brain (especially of men, both straight and gay) from viewing sex as pleasurable but linked to time and occasion to being a constant "availability" where like the air that you breathe, you expect it to be always "available" with no limitations. Porn creates a mental wiring dysfunction that no longer matches historical or present reality.

The second implication of this porn induced wiring change is to "expand" one's view of what is prey in ways that biology and social imperative would never have allowed. While there has always been the occasional child pervert, trust me, it is only this generation that gets an erection or gets wet when viewing a child in a sexual context. While Freud was shocked to find much incest in upper class, and humans do have self control problems, the VAST majority of families always had men that simply lacked ever thinking of their babies or children (or anyone else's) as something they might get sex gratification from. If you went back in time and suggested that to someone, you'd be killed, such would be the authentic revulsion. But porn changes that. Porn presents a whole new class of "prey" to someone who now thinks, through their new wiring, that "prey" (sex) is continually available.

This is also a reason why many humans have trouble being serene in their sex lives in a normal setting. This is also one reason why straights are tempted to gay behavior (I'm not talking about someone authentically gay, but I'm talking about "anything goes" "experimentation.") Again, I'm not being a prude. I'm explaining that a more conventional arrangement for sex within marriage gets truncated before it reaches its full potential for joy because porn destroys the wiring to look at "expanded and continual prey," to use again that example. This is where the lion or bear example breaks down, which is instructive in and of itself. While a human killing lion may now start hunting humans instead of water buffalo or gazelles, the lion's brain is not changed so that all they think about is having one kill after the other after the other. Human killing lions start to hang around where they can prey on humans, but they don't view themselves as "missing out on something" if they don't get a human kill every day or every hour. Lions still maintain their dietary habits as far as how often they hunt and how much food they need to live. Humans totally lose that editing in their porn addled brains. Humans, even if they are not aware of it, now feel like there is something "wrong" if they are not availing themselves of sexual gratification as often as possible and in every way possible.

That is the roots of the great addiction of porn. It breaks the fullness of intimacy within the conventional relationship before it can even flourish and then enslaves the human brain to both consciously and unconsciously always scanning for sex objects and visual if not instantly physical gratification. Humans lose what we call "the custody of the eyes," but they have long ago, upon the first regular viewing of porn, also lost "custody of their normal human brain."

Understanding this you can now understand why I so oppose the proliferation of erotic presentation of advertising, television, movies, video games and so forth. You can now understand that it is not me being "a prude" but because the brain damage is quick and is often irreversible, because there develops a mental frenzy of "sex seeking." One's activities then become more and more self reinforcing of the problematic path. And if someone tries to control custody of their eyes and minds, so that they don't see the neighbor's school child as someone who "turns them on," up pops some celebrity slut or video game or whatever to continually sexualize the brain's patterns of perception. So it is a struggle for even the most honorable human (men in particular) to maintain a normal and healthy view of sex, one that can be fulfilling based on exactly its appropriateness, and NOT its rampant inappropriateness.

When you have a choice in your jobs, choose the less sexualizing product. You know who I mean. And people must stamp out the proliferation of porn if they are to survive into the next century, and I'm not joking. Sexual insanity is not a survival trait.
