Explaining the "bigger things" feelings

Hi again, especially the young readers :-)

You know how some people will tell you that it doesn't really hurt the lobster to cook it live in boiling water? The reason that they give is that the water is heated so gradually that the cold water living lobster is kind of lulled into unconsciousness, which may be true. I mention this not to bum out animal lovers (though lobsters are pretty tough in turn on their prey, you might know, using those big claws to rip apart live something it wants to eat!) I want you to just think about the analogy of gradually warming up a cold water organism until it is lulled into being dead.

The lobster lives in cold water (except for the warm water ones, yeah, I know, just work with me on the analogy!) So the cold water lobster evolved to fit perfectly into that ecological niche.

Likewise, humans evolved over millions of years to fill their niche. Humans have a few great advantages over cold water lobsters. Humans live in hot, cold and in between climates. Humans are omnivores (can eat plant or animal material). So humans are flexible. And they have big brains so they have great capacity for learning. But when you think about how successful human beings have been, thriving even through natural disasters, disease, famines, poverty, until the one billion population mark was achieved, and then as humans are now at six billion, you have to think over the millions of years of history about a fundamental anti-survival change that humans have embraced... embraced just the way that cold water lobsters might think that a little warming up is just fine... until it's too late. That problem is the over-stimulation of the human brain by false information.

Humans are successful up to today because they were totally reality based. Babies, whether rich or poor, lived in a simpler reality based world, where reality was introduced to them exactly in pace to how their brains developed.

But with the invention of television, we have a tremendous problem with humans, where it is at that point that the cold water lobster is in the pot and getting the first lulling heat.

Babies and toddlers should not even see a television screen, let alone view it, at ALL. Why is that? I've blogged about this before but am giving it to you in context of the title of this blogging, which I'll explain in a minute. But the problem is that baby brain development, which has been very thoroughly studied and is well understood, is entirely focused on understanding that the baby is a "self," that mom and dad and other people are "others," and that the world is reliable, safe, ordered and logical. The classic crucial phase of an infant's brain development, for example, is when babies first understand that when mom or dad leave the room, it is not "forever," that they are not "gone" and they will be back. You can read wonderful psychology literature on this subject.

So here is the problem. Exactly when babies need to comprehend the crucial realities of themselves and the world around them, in modern times they view rapidity and falseness of images that they cannot possibly understand, no matter how "benign." So this is true of everything, from cartoons to "educational" material. Babies and small infants absolutely should not even face a TV set that is turned on, not even for a short time. Remembering what I explained that babies first sense of self and other comes from understanding that mom and dad leave the room, but still "exist" and will come back, think about how a baby is affected, how YOU all were affected, when you, as just about everyone of the past two generations have, saw TV images as an infant or toddler. All television IS is the representation of the rapid fire unreal of things that go away and don't come back. At exactly the time babies need quiet singular development, they get a multitude of false overstimulating images that undermine the development of the proportionality and confidence circuitry that they are supposed to be forming.

This is one huge reason why the past several generations are 1) over stimulated 2) lack confidence in relationships even though they are raised in the most secure circumstances that humans ever had 3) keep feeling "alienated" and "cut off" or "special" 4) mark my words, autism is part of this problem 5) obsess about having super hero powers, origins, aliens, a "greater purpose" and hence as I say in my title, the feelings of "bigger things."

Babies and toddlers have been inadvertently messed up in their circuitry by exposure to TV, no matter how short the exposure or how benign the presumed programming. It is NOT a survival trait and in fact it is an anti-survival trait to allow babies or toddlers to even observe the TV programming when it is on: I argue they should not even be in the room. People need to copy what millions of years of successful human beings thriving did right, no matter the culture, no matter the social class, which is to allow their infants and toddlers to grow up in reality of the natural, family and community world at their pace of brain development, and not be exposed to the artificial and hence confusing rapid fire of the unreality of television images.

The residue of having one's infant brain circuits interfered with by television during their natural development is that feeling that reality is unreal, and that there is a "something else out there," which is actually false. Read that again and think about it because it is really scary and I've watched it develop throughout my lifetime. Because of television and infants and toddlers being allowed to view ANY of it, children, young people, adults and some of the aging of this generation have a troubling partial swap in their brains. They have the feeling that genuine reality feels "unreal" often or some of the time, while they yearn in a creepy way for "reality" that is actually a false and inflated delusion, that comes from misunderstanding the ephemera of television when their brains were developing. This makes the argument about if TV violence causes violence in children (and it does) dwarfed in urgency, because I'm explaining that the foundation of infant and toddler brain development is distorted and skewed from the very beginning due to any exposure at all to TV. If I had an infant or toddler I would not allow him or her to be in a room with the TV on at ALL EVER.

Think about orphanages in poor countries where kids are left alone, often with their cribs turned toward the TV, for "company." I know someone who was abandoned and left in her crib as a toddler facing a TV set in a developing country, and I watched the effects of that, and other abandonment trauma, play out in her life and it was painful, painful, painful. Babies and toddlers, whether in a terrible situation such as abandonment, or in a loving and well provided home, cannot comprehend the over stimulation and ephemera of TV images and it destroys the God given and natural biological phased development of the confident and well paced brain.

I could go into more of the biology and the psychological consequences, but to make one point that you all can think about, I really want to stick with the topic of the feelings of "bigger things."

Before these modern times, people simply did not wonder all the time "why they are there," and "don't I have a 'bigger purpose' or 'destiny' in life" or "we must be from aliens or goddesses," etc. Now before you jump on me, sure, there were religions where people believe they descended from gods, or from other worlds (though they did not know about planets at the time) etc. It is one thing for a society to have a religion that supposes a "bigger thing" type of destiny or origin. But it is entirely a new phenomenon for individuals to be obsessed, overcome by, troubled by, over stimulated by, elated by, or deluded by those feelings on a personal level. Being poor and living in a subsistence pre-TV economy, no matter where in the world, gave all humans a huge survival advantage, which was they were 1) reality based and 2) their children developed rapidly but apace with reality and genuinely beneficial brain development. All children had the advantage of being raised in a household that may be poor, impoverished, or even abusive and dire, but they were not further confused by over stimulation of false images, which is television.

Those of us who read the classics know about the almost stereotyped character of the "clever waif," the "street smart kid." Whether in England or India, the clever and resourceful waif is a recurring theme in literature because that was reality. You of course still see this today in developing countries, but much less so. Why? Well, so much of the clever waif's success, presented in literature but based on much reality, was due to being entirely reality based. Waifs were raised so their brains developed in accordance with reality. What is the street smart kid like today? The "clever waif" of today? Entirely a media creation, looking for his or her cues from the false world they have seen from the cradle, and they genuinely view that as reality. They have that swap I mentioned above, as do their parents and their teachers.

This is why, to bring it back to religion and faith, the "swap" I mentioned above can be observed as such. Reality is viewed as unreal ("I don't believe the Bible because it's just all made up stuff) while unreality is viewed as real ("I think that I was personally destined to save the world and be a superhero"). Young people and adults and their teachers are far more willing to believe (especially if their egos are stroked) the most unbelievable proof lacking stuff and garbage, while they will reject without even examining reality that boring but truthful old men carefully penned onto parchments so that their future generations will know what really happened. I mean, if you think about it, it's mindboggling. MUCH of this comes from babies and infants being exposed to seeing television screens with content, regardless of the supposed benefit or benign nature of the actual show.

A baby's brain cannot understand a cute puppy galloping off the TV screen and disappearing. A baby can understand a real puppy that gallops across the kitchen floor and disappears through the door to the living room... where either baby can follow or the actual puppy returns.

The exposure of babies and toddlers to TV has been suicidal and totally insane for that reason alone, say nothing of the other factors we all know about (violence, couch potato, no longer reads, watches too mature content, sees bad examples, etc). The damage is already done in a much more fundamental level. The past two generations watched cute puppies gallop across a TV screen and not understand what it is, instead of watching only the cute puppy, or cat, or chicken, or fish in the fish tank move across the room and out of view, but it is still real and alive, just like mom and dad. The brains of humans were not meant to be given crossed signals of artificial media while they are still under development as babies and toddlers.

Be horrified. I am and have been all my life, as I've known about this problem all along. People listen to me for all the wrong reasons (prior to this blog) but refuse to comprehend and heed me, as I've worried and warned about these problems. Even as a teenager I would not have the TV on while I was caring for an infant or toddler, even if parents urged or recommended it. All parents got brainwashed and selfish about the "baby sitter in a box," the nickname for television. TV interfered with natural brain development of infants and toddlers and that is a fact.

So this, to get back to the main point, is the reason so many of you, and I am saying this with great love, concern and compassion, have these feelings of inflation, alienation, goofy beliefs, hubris, "destiny," "unrecognized specialness," etc.... not because "everyone feels that way" (maybe they do now, but they didn't "back then")... but because when you were infants and toddlers and following the well known and highly successful process of brain development and individuality recognition, against a backdrop of constancy, with a well understood and logical ordered world, it was contaminated by the contrarian over stimulation of any exposure to TV.

Thus genuine "calling" in the real world is muffled, misheard, unheard, and dismissed as being "unreal," while false "calling" and "purpose" are inflated into grandiose but ultimately depressive longings that are viewed as "reality." It is a total swap of the real with the false, and it comes from, in large part, the inconstant development of infant and toddler brains when they should have been in reality based constancy and consistency. I hope this helps. Be strong and keep it really real, not falsely real. Do not let your babies or small children observe either TV or now the other obvious problems, video games and computer screens. Seriously. It's already too late for many. But if you understand what I am saying you can start to edit and comprehend some of your own unremembered experiences, and realize that you have been influenced yourselves in such a way.

Another rant about occult beliefs

Sometimes the desire to view classic TV shows or movies overcomes my natural rejection of needlessly exposing me to the cultist diarrhea that permeates most media of the past forty years. And so once in a while I will buy a CD collection, hold my nose and watch.

For example, I’ve been watching a show I really enjoyed when it was on TV, Hawaii 50. But one has to not allow the psycho babble of the cultists, who worked “numerology” and other references throughout many scripts and settings, to ruin the good episodes.

It’s too bad because this was classic and fantastic entertainment. And despite people thinking that I was some ignorant dummy during my youth (since we were all supposed to “remember” “who we really are” and I and my family seemed particularly stupid and dense in that regard), I noticed the warning signs even when these shows were popular. Not the numerology or the deliberate references to my family, but I knew something occult oriented was very wrong in these shows.

For example, I was repulsed back when Hawaii 50 was featured in the magazine TV Guide because of the hero being “tortured” being suspended in a freak show sensory deprivation device. I knew that the idea for that came from sick cultist types of influences because this was really a large blip in the entertainment radar, which did not have abusive events imagined and depicted as they do today, almost forty years later.

Likewise the popular show “The Wild, Wild West.” When it got extremely bizarre in a hard to describe way, (but let’s say perverted “futuristic” scenarios were worked into what was supposed to be an Western adventure that yes, had some interesting technology but really got strange and creepy) I knew then that what I thought were simply depraved moral degeneracy plus some drug assisted mental illness was having an influence. So I became repulsed by even the best of the TV shows around that time, and have been since. I guess I just wasn’t as “stupid” as everyone thought I was. It’s hard to “realize” “who we really are” when no one is anything other than a dumb ass sinful human being born and living only because God for some reason in his mercy continues to love humans.

I continue to be baffled by humans and their egregious self hatred that is wrapped in the disguise of excessive self love and glorification. Yes, I can be baffled, not because I don’t “know” the reasons (I’m pretty expert in the ways of humans, life, and the universe in general), but when I say “baffled” I mean, I just can’t relate to it. Humans hate themselves for no reason at all. (They have given reasons to be hated by their behavior, but that’s another story and subject for a different day).

I know humans (and here I mean the type of human that is engaging in cult beliefs, not your average Joe or Mary Chinese farmers who are just decent people) hate themselves because they insist of having “real extra hidden identities” rather than “just” accepting being who you were in a ‘what you see is what you get’ realization of one body, one mind, one soul, one life, that’s it. If people were proud of being a human being, born with God’s full knowledge and care, and just accepted reality, they would not have to make up depraved “reincarnation,” “manipulative karma,” and “stupid alien” identities.

These types of humans are so mentally unstable that they would rather think they are some “bad” or “tormented” “past life” jerk than be an “average good guy or gal” that’s a human, period. I cannot relate to people who are not satisfied with the reality that everyone is born with one new clean pure soul and then they live their one life, hoping to find their way back to God when they die. Who can relate to someone who would rather imagine they have a “past life” of being raped in a potato field? Or that they were one of Jesus’ best buddies? Or that they have alien cobwebs around them and now have to “save humanity?”

I mean, even typing this it is so bizarre and strange to even acknowledge that thousands of people run around ruining it for everyone and themselves because they’d rather believe something imaginary and bad than real and good. Again, remember as I've said before, I am not bashing mainstream Buddhism. Mainstream Buddhism does not try to "figure out" the "past lives" of individuals and then actully manipulate others based on those "results."

And then this is where the inflated egos and excessive self love comes in. The occult practicioners hate themselves because they were raised in sick belief systems and/or they developed that mental instability, so they imagine all these freak “past life” identifies, and THEN they self glorify themselves so that they have a “role” in the “defense of good” “in the universe” and give themselves “tormented superhero” status. It is something so unstable and so unhealthy that while I of course can see what humans do to themselves and others, and even explain to them what they are doing and what the error is, I so cannot relate to it that it’s not funny.

Mainstream Buddhism on the other hand avoids the arrogance and ego of "thinking one knows" who one really "used to be" and certainly never puts it in a military and conflict context. Cultists are obsessed with the sick idea of a fight and a beef going on and on and on. That is NOT mainstream Buddhism.

I wonder, sometimes, how people who have done this and who now know the truth feel, knowing they tormented and stalked my family, thinking they were something “special” (good and evil) and now knowing they were just indeed mechanics, housewives, average people with one body, one life, one soul, and one death, just like everyone else.

Another example of how I knew there was this unbelievably creepy insanity is that the woman I learned Jungian psychoanalysis from once called my mother “the head witch,” and she did not mean “witch” as in a big mean woman being insulted. I know that this asshole woman thinks I didn’t pick up on that, but I did.

I know because I let her “instruct me” in creating an “amulet” that would “protect me from harm” by using the “power of my mother, the head witch.” See, this asshole woman thought that occult stuff is real and that my interests in some of my Native American adopted family member’s spiritual practices was “validation” that I believed too.

For example, I liked reading about Navajo medicine men, and the creation of “medicine bags.” I made a few for myself, but just because I like to do certain activities that humans do, it does not mean I have given them some sort of “seal of approval.” The medicine bags, obviously, have no numinous power that has any impact on reality what so ever. But they have, just like a photo album, a personal meaningfulness. For example, I put two little tokens that were from the mom of one of my Indian families, and they meant something to me because they were from her childhood, and I cared very much for her.

So the Jung asshole thinks because I would sit down and make a medicine bag that I must believe in the occult background of it to “wield power.” Ugh, they are sickening, sickening, revolting people who ruin everything decent about humans. So she could not wait to show her true colors by leaping to advise me on what to do in an “amulet” kind of way, profiling "my mother, the head witch to 'protect me'". Um, who needs amulets and “magic” when there is God, only God?

So when I look back in the media I can even see sly references to my alleged “head witch” mother. Gosh, she has her mean moments but there’s nothing magical about her or anyone else. She’s just another soul that God created to send into the embryo in her mother’s womb, to live out her one life as best as she can. Ditto my father, whose birthday is tomorrow and I’ve written before how people have defamed his name by spreading the most disgusting occult beliefs about him. (Routine curse request sent to God for those who created this problem).

So, alas, I wonder how all the thousands of people who believe they have “past identities,” both human and alien (and don’t even get me started about animals) are doing as they realize they are just “not so special one shot” humans who were born, will live, die, and then face God in judgment, period, are doing.

What do they talk about, now that they no longer can spend time dreaming up sick alter egos and “past lives” filled with “destiny” and “tragedy?”

Have they taken up healthy hobbies like growing vegetables in a garden, instead of being as stupid as rotten vegetables in their heads?

Maybe stamp collecting instead of stamping on the lives and souls of the “little people” who are their “chum” by which they fight their imaginary alien wars?

Perhaps they’ve gone back to talking about what their children are learning in school instead of teaching their children that they are reincarnated fuck holes.

Gosh, I do hope they have found decent normal sane things to do. Maybe they are even learning about God in a sane and normal decent way, the way humans did for thousands of years before they went insane with depraved hidden assholes manipulating them over the last few decades.

Well, God knows what they are up to now. They have not turned off all their filth machines, though, and I’m very angry about that. And if I’m angry, oh boy, you don’t want to know the fullness of what God himself is feeling.

By the way, if you think I rant alot, as in large quantities, consider this. All my bloggings are a drop in the bucket compared to the thousands of hidden conversations and manipulations (such as recordings and humiliating photographs) that have taken place to harm me, my family and others. God sees, knows all.

Apocalypse progressing nicely, Fifth Trumpet

The debate continues about whether the Bible is literally true or symbolically true, in those places where extreme events take place (such as creation in 7 days, which I addressed in another post, and about the "rapture", which I also give my explanation.) Now I'm going to explain how the Fifth Trumpet of the Apocalypse has already sounded and is in action, and how human kind is doing, actually, even more poorly than is seen by St. John. Apocalypse 9:6-11:

And in those days men will seek death and will not find it; and they will long to die and death will flee from them. And in appearance the locusts were like horses made ready for battle; and there were on their heads crowns as it were like gold; and their faces were like the faces of men. And they had hair like the hair of women; and their teeth were like the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of many horsechariots running to battle. And they had tails like those of scorpions and there were stings in their tails; and they had power to harm mankind for five months. And they had over them a king, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon [this is a name indicating a "destroyer" not a literal name], and in the Greek Apollyon; in Latin he has the name Exterminians.

Now, St John did literally see this and literally report it correctly. Remember, however, that St John, a humble man of the country of 2000 years ago, was through God looking into the future and reporting what he was seeing in the words available to him at that time, and with the understanding available to him at that time. This was a time where things people take for granted did not even exist, such as a regular ability to read and write, or travel outside of one's area. Communications was verbal and local.

So St John had no way to understand that what he was seeing was electronic communications and "entertainment." He was seeing TV. He was seeing cartoons. He was seeing videos. He was seeing movies. He was seeing photographs. And he was seeing the pain that the electronic media causes through the air, like locusts. He was seeing a time saturated with mixed sex, animal, and species images, the jumble of images, some real some totally fantasy, that is broadcast everywhere in the world. It has the power to hurt for five months? Sounds like a season of TV to me. There is a king, of course, since that's how a CEO would appear to St John. And he even heard the sound, like "horsechariots", of both static and the immense noise of simultaneous media blaring in the world today.

And for the causes of pain, who has watched anything in the media who has not experienced some pain? Horrible news. Perverted entertainment. Manufactured envy and lusting for goods through commercials. And there is an interesting synchronicity here (a synchronicity means a coincidence that is a mask for some genuine underlying truth.) One name for the TV ruler is APOLLyon. Is it not true that virtually all human activities are now controlled according to "a poll?" From the TV ratings system (which is a poll) to political polls, people are now experiencing the fifth trumpet, and it's going even worse than St John saw.

It's not a coincidence that some researchers are reporting that TV is causing damage to babies' brains. It is not a coincidence that there is totally ADHD in our children. And just as St John saw five months of pain from these "locusts", the implication is also that not viewing destructive TV and other images (such as violence, perversion, and excess fantasy) for five months would bring relief.

When I read the "Left Behind" series, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at how wrong and childishly, and often churlishly, the Apocalypse was treated. They didn't give St John enough credit for actually seeing the truth of what was going on in the future, by insulting his intelligence by having literally little swarms of transformoscorplionolococustybeasties flying around zinging non believers. Good grief. St John was seeing, through God's grace and power, into the future, the real future, not some self serving caricatures that ignore the real demise of society that is taking place through the mundane means that St John so accurately described.
