Cultist cliches

I thought I'd share with you two cliches of life that the cultists who have stalked me engage in. They are such boring cliches that I almost vomit when I encounter the latest to act out these scripts.

1. They pretend to not know much about computers or the Internet to hide their access to sophisticated computer based stalking. Each stalker I've encountered keeps funnily out of date computers in their public home that they wave their hands at and explain that they "hardly ever use the computer" and being poor have "really old equipment."

In reality, of course, through their cult contacts (they organize themselves like Communist cells) they have access to tremendous computer capability, all used for ungodly stalking and manipulation of others. This has become such a boring canard that it's not even laughable anymore. I first encountered it in 2003 and even today I have cultists around me flapping their hands claiming "Gosh, I don't know nothing about computers!" Then they get their stalking information based on sophisticated secret computer use when they are in their private cell space.

Yuck.

2. They pretend to be poor. They dress shabby and are often assigned a home or apartment that they keep very modest. They complain about costs and act thrifty, even cheap. By doing this they feel that they are "covered" in that the rich have a hard time getting to heaven, so they think they can "tech" being part time poor, and thus be "covered" for being saved.

I mean, that is so ridiculous it's hard to not puke over how far off the message of what Jesus Christ exhorts this cynical manipulation and totally stupid misunderstanding of scripture is.

In 2002 and 2003 I noticed this cliche for the first time. I was supposed to be astonished to see two different people who whined about how poor they are (one of whom took a lot of money from me as a so-called highly recommended carpenter and fixer upper) later appear wearing fashionable leathers and expensive clothes. What I was supposed to think is that through hard work or luck they have "made good." But I realized on the spot that they had this duality of thinking that results in, well, nothing good will come of it, and certainly not salvation.

So many people live this dual life (poor on the outside and hidden wealth) that they can't believe how obvious they are to people like me who are old enough and sane, who remember how people actually do live. I can spot a mile away one of those "poor on the outside" faux home bases and also the people's "costumes" who go with that role.

Question: God, who knows what one will do even before one does it, thinks what about this?

The answer is not that he is "fooled" into thinking that these phonies were "poor" "enough" to "balance out" the wealth they secretly control and thus will "be saved" because they teched their way into heaven. Trust me, I'm telling you this because I'd like to see at least a few people repent and avoid hell, and worship God and respect him and his true Biblical messengers as they should.

Instead, this is what I see every day around me. Watch the falling stone of the lie:

Case study: why spying leads to worse information

One of the things that the cultists who stalk me are most proud of is that they "know everything about me." This was told to me by one of the head cultists in 2003. This is how I first realized that far from being just nosy neighbors of the ordinary sort, they actually have wiretapped my home for many years, being fascinated with every detail of my life including, puzzlingly, bathroom habits. That fascination continues to even today, and if only I had realized it sooner I could have started a potty blog for them and saved them the effort. It just isn't all that mysterious.

Back to my case study, though, to illustrate my main point. The past two generations believe that "knowledge is power" and they glorify spies in popular culture and so forth. That is great when done in a sane context. Yes, in armed conflict (or suspicious times), nations have great incentive to spy on each other about military capabilities and plans. And yes, knowledge is power, because a dummy should not pretend to be an expert on a subject without gaining knowledge through study, practice, apprenticeship, life experience, etc.

But here is the problem. The more "details" of activities and even thoughts that a stalker collects about a person, such as me, the more they lose sight of what is actually holistically going on. Worse, they start to draw opposite conclusions to the truth. For our case study, let's use some specific examples from my life.

Scenario one: Cultists never observe me reading the Bible.

Wrong conclusion: They conclude that I am either irreligious or that the Bible is irrelevant.

Factual truth: I read the entire Bible around the age of thirteen and retain perfect recall. Additionally, I was born with the ability to witness to the truth of what is in the Bible and the Qur'an.

So here is a stark example of how statistical and "knowledge" building data collection is totally bogus. Far from measuring my devotion to the Bible, attempting to measure my devotion by the number of times I read the Bible has drawn cultists to a conclusion opposite to the truth. I am living devotion to the Bible and it is engraved, spiritually, in my heart. I only turn to the Bible when I am blogging or when I wish to lose myself in the comfort of what is there. I was doing neither when cultists attempted to demonize me via "counting" my supposed usage of the Bible.

I could give other examples but this is the key, the heart of the problem of stalking, and I'll leave this one to my readers to meditate upon.

This, by the way, is why gossip, stalking and spying is a violation of the Eighth Commandment about false witnessing against one's neighbor. One collects judgmental and often false or gravely misunderstood information against someone who is the victim of gossip, spying and stalking, and thus comes to believe and communicate calumny, lies and distortions, ALL of which is false witness in God's eyes (remember, the Bible explains that even thoughts are sins; it is not necessary to act upon those thoughts).

Gossip, stalking and spying for "tech" reasons are also a violation, in addition to the Eighth Commandment, to the First Commandment against false gods and idolatry. Collecting power enhancing information against another person is putting that "tech" and activity ahead of God in determining the purpose and direction to that person's life. One cannot "tech" and serve God; God will not tolerate other masters.

For example, one has no way of knowing that an adulterous affair that results in a baby is not ultimately the will of God. God is not saying that adultery is no longer a sin. However, only God knows all the paths of all people who ever lived, and it is often his will that humans cannot understand how their own actions (say nothing of their "neighbors") fit into his plan. A woman who is gossiped about and demonized for having an adulterous baby is thus treated in an extremely ungodly way by the stalkers. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that people should take justice into their own hands based on evil gossip. Rather, Jesus explicitly comdemns hypocriscy and turns into disciples many who were accused by the hypocrites of "sin."

God has a plan for everyone. Why do hypocrite Christians stalk others and thus gossip, oppress and put their feet on the necks of those they spy on, harming them with their sinful thoughts and deeds, when they should confess that they know that God has a plan-known only to him-for everyone?

I blogged before that thank God the "righteous" early Christians did not decide to slay Saul, their chief persecutor, out of "self defense." If gossipers and stalkers had their way, they would have killed Saul before he became Paul.

God will not tolerate having his will hampered by spies, gossipers and stalkers.

So ponder how the "counting how many times I read or do not read the Bible" led to a complete misunderstanding and hampering of God's plan and will for my life, and think about how those deeds are in direct conflict and offense to the First and Eighth Commandments (not a good place to be in if one hopes to be saved upon death).

Continuing to reach out to cultists

Even though stalking cultists have ruined my life (and those of countless others, either deliberately or through neglect, since the error of their beliefs cause them to neglect people and activities who are essential to good life and ultimately salvation), I continue to sincerely reach out to them through this blog. I blog less than I have because I pretty much have said everything that I can say in this format, and only repeat myself.

However, I mention this today to share with you an example of wrong "Christian thinking." Since my life has been ruined and I'm on the brink of bankruptcy, I've become a housekeeper for a Christian man who has a rental facility in his home. In return for housekeeping I have a free room and food and utilities to meet my needs. He's a good guy and tries to do the right thing.

However, as many Christians I have met, he has a serious error in his logic. He knows about the stalking but rather than this knowledge providing more insight into my service on behalf of God (my witnessing) he actually is confounded why I continue to "spend so much time on the computer" and why I blog and hence communicate with the cultists. He basically said that I am provoking cultists by communicating with them, (thus the old "asking for it" argument that men used to use against women who are sexually assaulted).

The vast majority of the stalking, and damage to me, was done before I was blogging, before I understood that many people have skewed and even insane views of God, the Bible, the Qur'an, etc. Far from blogging being me "engaging with" those who have harmed me in a bad way, I continue to believe that my blogging is helping some people somewhere to regain their sanity and to better understand God.

Too many Christians do not understand that in addition to confessing Jesus Christ, they are also OBLIGATED to correct error (there are Biblical citations on that, of course). I do not do it for obligatory reasons, and especially not because I am in some demented way "asking for it." I continue to blog because I pray that each time that I do at least one person (yes, even the worst of stalkers) asks the right questions, receives comfort, and starts to regain their sanity and ultimately find their true belief and be saved from being judged and expelled from God's presence for all eternity.

Time's a wasting. Every day I read obituaries and while no one can speak for God, believe you me I continue to be alarmed at seeing how many people died unrepentant and unsaved.

Many Christians worry more about who is cheating on who (adultery in particular fascinates them) and even worry about gay marriages (which I am not in favor of however I believe in commitment acknowledgements and I spend zero amount of my time worrying about gay marriage or not) but do not worry at all about having erroneous beliefs about God, many of which border on cultist and pagan beliefs and idolatry.

An example would be a so called Christian who secretly engages in occult practices, such as Scientology "tech." That is a great error and I am alarmed at how many of those Christians think they are "covered" regarding being saved because they "believe in Jesus Christ," yet who participate in anti-Godly activities.

I continue to URGENTLY reach out to those people to keep reading my blog, go back and reread with new eyes what I have written in the past (I tire of repeating myself). "Believing in Jesus" is not coverage from continuing in occult, idolatrous or other obsessive compulsive tech type activities that are a way of trying to have sinful control over others.

A few words about epilepsy and seizures

There is a lot of discussion about seizures due to the death of Jett Travolta. I do not have a lot of detail to offer, but I know that some are interested in any people I've known with similar problems.

One of my college roommates, in the early 1970's was diagnosed as a child with epilepsy. Diagnosis was easy because epilepsy is the condition of having what used to be called "epileptic fits," now called "seizures." Because she had epilepsy as she grew older she could not risking a seizure while operating a car and thus could not learn to drive, obviously, but that was the only restriction placed upon her. She grew up on a farm and had a very healthy traditional upbringing and food habits, what is looked down upon by many today, but was a blessing in the times when people appreciated farm fresh food including milk and beef, eggs, bacon etc. One of her cooking specialties was a great rich chipped beef. Some people just develop epilepsy, it's one of the more puzzling medical conditions that humans have experienced for much of their history. She was not on any medications, since that just was not common back then, and actually she didn't even bother telling us "what to do" in any detail in case she had a seizure, just to make sure she didn't harm herself by thrashing around and wait it out. So most of the time the three of us who were her roommates just forgot about it.

Well, here is what is interesting. She never had a seizure in the four years in college, and it seems to have gone away on its own. Apparently it in some forms is something that can be outgrown. As the years went by we just kind of noticed one day, hey, you haven't had any seizures ever while you were in college, and she said "Yep." That's when she told us that sometimes it is outgrown.

Now, years later when I interned in a psychiatric outpatient facility I observed that I had no patients with epilepsy, but that symptoms of some illnesses include seizures. Those patients received medication for their underlying illness and for control of the seizures, and they did very well. I share this so you who are new to this subject realize that there is a disorder that is called epilepsy that is diagnosed as being the state of having epileptic seizures, and there are separate unrelated illnesses that have a range of symptoms, one of which may be seizures. I saw someone with epilepsy who grew up on a farm (lots of dirt but lots of healthy living) outgrow it, and I've seen patients with mental illnesses who have as one of their range of symptoms seizures, who benefited greatly from their medication, which basically gives them their life back.

So those are my first hand observations. I hope this was helpful to those of you new to this type of subject, and that you realize when you read the press you have to try to distinguish between the condition of having seizures and seizures as a symptom of other conditions. My roommate had a lot of class; she really was about the opposite of an obsessive drama queen that you could imagine and she was a totally cool role model for others. By the way, "back then" this type of thing was diagnosed and treated by your family doctor. Now it's pretty much assumed that it becomes a huge psychiatric thing. I think that is reasonable progress, but I'm just helping you to know that there was a time when people were much more blase about the childhood forms of it. The key was to maintain normal supportive life conditions for the child and not to do anything different in terms of food, living conditions and certainly not mental quakery of trying to "change" or "turn off" the seizures as it seems $cientology does with its toolkit of quakery and abuse.

Why I don't post my email or allow comments

I've heard that some people wonder why. The reason that I don't allow comments is that when I do, alien believing "rapture" freaks promptly post their garbage. That doesn't fly with me for long!

Obviously my not posting an email address so that readers or potential new friends could ask me questions is related to the first problem. But more fundamentally, here is why. Virtually every email I've received from strangers to acquaintances and even to my "friends" and family are "tests" of me. They are usually a combination of genuine curiosity about the subject, but ruined by a hidden agenda of trying to "catch me out" in some way. Now, I love teaching and I love good conversation, but years of that abuse has ruined it for me too.

They think that it is "OK" to do (not recognizing that it is bearing false witness, as I've explained in previous postings, to conceal or manipulate your identity, or to have undisclosed information about me held "up one's sleeve.") They think it's OK to dissemble and lie because they usually include a "typo" in the email. Among cultists a "typo" is a deliberate "error" placed in the communication, so they think that lets them off the hook of lying or prevaricating within that email, since one "typo" "covers all" and is "fair warning." It doesn't let them off the hook, with neither me or God, and it totally bores me, their lack of grace and sincerity. This, by the way, is one reason I despise $cientology and $cientologists, and only pray that more will realize that everyone who follows them follows Hubbard straight into hell and I'm not joking or exaggerating.

In fact, entire decades of my life (and yours) have been wasted by people who approach me to "ask me" for "guidance," but they are "asking me" about a topic that they already have "secret information about me" regarding, and thus hope to catch me in hypocrisy, sin or lying. I mean, these people will steal millions of dollars from the poor, but hunt down a child who stole popcorn or a candy bar from a store when she or he was poor. (I hung out with a few kids when I was young, who helped themselves and showed me the ropes. I was caught with a handful of "liberated popcorn" by the store owner. To this day the cultists run around gushing I loooooooove popcorn!) They think they are getting a morally superior laugh over me, but I just pity them and their sin. Except they are not such great sources for mercy giving, since they just looooooooooooooooove abortions, lying, blaspheming, and "making a killing" in the stock market by scamming the chumps and charging usury. Well, I hope they just looooooooooooove hell! LOL LOL LOL.

Having said that, if anyone is really interested in emailing me, my email is not too hard to discover, just ask one of about million cultists who know who I am, my social security number, my blood type, the location of all of my birthmarks and scars (they ought to know the scars, as they with their own hands placed them there and photographed me in the hospital), who I've loved and "how far did we go," and, of course, all my addresses, phone numbers, emails and "how to get a message to me."

Jim Jones not enjoying hell flavored Kool Aid

No he's not enjoying it at all. The Qur'an describes the black burning fruit that the damned in hell are forced to eat, and his "hell Kool Aid" is most assuredly made of it. *have some more Kool Aid, we insist!*

L. Ron Hubbard's probably not enjoying his cake very much either, especially as his rear end is rammed onto one of those volcanos that he thought "Thetans" were released near, but any geology student knew those volcanos did not even exist during his sickening "history" time line. Satan, by the way, likes to "personalize" the hell experience, in ways that appropriate to the cultist's own imagination. *have some more cake, we insist!"

My thoughts about USA space agency NASA

I believe that the US should cut the budget of NASA and confine them to three projects (for which they will get full funding to ensure safety and effectiveness): Investment in the space station, Rocketry and other infrastructure for "return to the moon" exploration, and research into effective means to protect the earth from possible asteroid threats. I do not believe that space flight to Mars and either manned or unmanned exploration of any other planets should be funded, period. Here is why.

I defended the space program through the 1960's and 1970's, when many who focus on the social and humanitarian needs of the poor and disenfranchised on earth questioned "why spend the money on space?" I agreed with the necessity for space exploration for all the usual reasons (knowledge, technology advances, security and competition among other countries).

However, some very bizarre decisions in the 1980's through now have made me realize that there is an unsavory agenda behind the bloated expenditures. The first thing I could not understand is how the space shuttle could be so poorly and unsafely designed, which resulted, as we all know, in the loss of lives in two space shuttles. I could not understand why it was "made to look like a plane" and fly "piggy back," when that was so dangerous and unwise from even a novice's understanding of engineering.

Further, I could not understand why moon exploration was dropped like a hot potato and an almost obsessive interest in Mars took over, with repeated scouring of that planet with probes that both worked and did not. There was also an unscientific and biased obsession with "seeing if life is possible on Mars." Why were techniques for living on the moon not being explored, which is within reach? Why the obsession about "life on Mars?" Even the press releases by NASA, who tried to sound scientific, could not hide a rather strange occult tone to them.

Finally I realized that the NASA program was under the influence of Scientology believers. Why? Because Scientologists believe that Mars is some sort of recycling station where "reincarnated aliens spirits" are plugged into earthlings when they die. I wish I was joking but I'm not. So I have every reason to believe that Scientologists have used their behind the scene influence to push for Mars exploration, hoping to find evidence of their loony "beliefs." As a result the space shuttle was some sort of childhood science fiction design fantasy, the moon exploration was dumped (obviously, because science fiction was the motivation, not genuine science), the space station had repeated problems due to diversion of attention toward looking for "Thetans on Mars," and we've had decades now of pouring money into Mars. For what? Total bullshit. Even Bush has been persuaded to advocate funding for more Mars, Mars, Mars.

Someone in Congress, please put a stake through the heart of the Mars programs and make NASA focus on their three mandates, as listed above. In this time of financial crisis this Mars insanity is the last thing we need. There are no Thetans or anything else on Mars.

While thinking about this earlier today I sent a quick thought to God, wishing that he'd supernova Mars and blow it to smithereens, using whatever method he would use. People are too freaking wicked and stupid to even have the delight of seeing the red light of Mars, looking like a star, shine above. I'd happily do without it and think it would be an instructive punishment to humans and their idolatrous wickedness.

I know God probably will not do it. Why? Because he knows humans and their weakness better than anyone. If Mars blew up it would just fuel the psychos' "conspiracy theories." "Ah ha, we were getting close to finding the Thetan lube job station," they would figure, while continuing to gouge money and brain cells out of anyone stupid enough to believe them.

God did, actually, share a thought with me. At the End of Times when the bodies of the just are risen and restored, and there is the new world and the new Jerusalem, there will be no stars or planets in the sky, nothing in the firmament. This is because humans have ruined the beauty of the features of space by idolizing and worshipping them. God will never put that particular temptation in front of humans again. It's sad to think that humans have to ruin everything that is good for everyone.

So Senators and House of Representatives, cut that NASA budget and force them to stick to those three priorities. In this financial crisis the last thing we need is to continue to feed a fat occult pig. I think that is something that both atheists and pious believers in God can agree on.

To Scientology believers and ex-believers

An Urgent message to Scientologists, Ex-Scientologists and Freezoners

In this very important blog message I am not going to focus on either the argument that there is indeed one True God, whose will is the antithesis of what is presented in Scientology, or am I going to address what I’ve previously explained is geological and other proof against belief in aliens, reincarnation and so forth.

Today I have an urgent message to explain to you the harm in even using the most “innocuous” and “helpful” technical tools. And I do not mean what Anon correctly argues, which is the tools are harmful “fronts” in order to suck people into an insane set of beliefs and rob them of their money at the same time. Instead I am going to explain how the tools are unwittingly harming the physical and mental health of even the most ardent Scientology believer.

Understand that the human body and mind are incredibly sophisticated and polished organisms, achieving an incredible capacity for life over the millions of years of evolution. It is easy to take the human body for granted and even look down on it. But that blasé attitude, or even of contempt for body capabilities and functions, is an affectation and unconscious consequence of prosperity. People who still have to fight each day to provide a meal and housing for their family tend to have a greater and more accurate appreciation for the human body than, say, a jaded surgeon who actually sees how remarkable the body is first hand. Appreciation for how the human body has evolved tends to be directly correlated to people who still have to rely on the marvels of the human body, and its survival instincts, for their day to day existence. So far from being full of flaws, the body and the mind are optimized for LIFE. Far from being full of issues, rejects, flaws and failure, the human body and mind are AMAZING in their near perfection for BEING ALIVE. Even a birth defect is not a curse! It is the body’s attempt at introducing a new survival trait, but one that ends up hindering rather than helping survival. That is the pattern throughout biological evolution. New genes and even broken genes and mutations come spontaneously into being “just in case” that development becomes a survival advantage.

Now, before I explain the danger of the Scientology technical tools, let me introduce one valuable analogy. Suppose you have an incredibly engineered high performance racing car. I’m no car expert but let’s say a Porsche. This race car example is a low slung beauty that can reach high speeds and be very responsive to steering. You love this car and use it for both day to day enjoyment and some race car “motoring.” But suppose that someone, a friend who has nothing to do with cars and no knowledge of cars, tells you that you could “do better” if you modify the car. The friend points out that you don’t drive as perfectly as AJ Foyt did, or Jimmy Stewart. Now you are not a professional and in fact, you had been pretty happy up until then, though you have the usual stresses of life (let’s say the car payments, or nowadays the price of gas). But the friend insists and waves a book at you with a volcano on the cover that looks like it has a big car exhaust coming from it so you figure the friend (and the book) must know what it is talking about. You give him your car to “work on.”

He hooks up some tin cans and meters and reads them, shaking his head. He tells you that your car is “stressed” and “traumatized” because it is so low slung to the ground compared to other cars, especially SUV’s. He tells you that if the car was not so worried and depressed about being so “short” that it would be “balanced” and “perform better.” He convinces you to get a Plexiglas hood (kind of what is on top of the Popemobile) and place it on top of the Porsche, so that the car is now five feet “taller.” He plugs the meter in and “confirms” that “now the stress of being low slung has been removed from the car.”

Next he frowns and says, “But the meter tells me that the car is traumatized by being measured by you. It does not like the fuel gauge. That gauge has a meter that sticks into its gasoline and that is irritating and traumatizing. You need to get rid of the gas gauge. A fully actualized car does not need to have its fuel measured. And if YOU were a really balanced and good driver, you would KNOW when it needs gas. So we must get rid of the fuel gauge!” (He does not tell you that the sensor strip that sticks in the fuel to measure the level was actually an irritating device invented by evil aliens to agitate cars, since you are not sufficiently advanced to have that knowledge). So he removes the gas gauge and the accompanying equipment, like sensors, that were attached to the fuel tank. (He does not notice that in doing so he left a hole behind where the gauge had gone into the fuel tank, so now gas fumes leak through a tiny hole where the sensor was once installed).

He hooks the tin cans and meters once again and nods at you encouragingly. He tells you that the car is “much better” and feels “clear” about being low slung and irritated by that bad aliens (oops, he slipped) fuel gauge sensor strip. He tells you that while the car is better, it still needs much more work. But you’ve paid him handsomely for the work done so far, and now you can take it for a spin and use the car until the next “improvement session.” You schedule your next session. But first he makes you promise two things. One is to spread the message that low slung cars should have Plexiglas hoods bolted on top of them and that fuel gauges and their sensors should be removed from cars to AS MANY OTHER people that you can. You have to agree to spread these “improvements” to as many car drivers and owners as possible. And second, if anyone, especially car mechanics, “disagree” with you, you must cut them out of your life and never talk to them again. This includes anyone in your own family who questions the Plexiglas hood or the removal of the fuel gauge and sensor instrumentation.

You drive off in your car. Maybe the gas fumes ignite and blow you up that very day. Maybe they don’t because through grace and luck there is enough ventilation that the hole you have now put in your fuel tank never sparks. You can’t get the car to drive as fast and smooth, especially in windy weather, because of the hood. But you figure that rather than taking a step backward, a DANGEROUS step backwards, you are just a beginner learning to wield this awesome car renovation power and that is why it’s not working as well as it was before you began your modifications. You convince lots of people to do the same, especially the young people. You don’t notice that as time goes on, some of them die because their cars blow up from the pinhole leak in the gas tank where once the sensors were. They run out of gas a lot, but your “friend” opens a set of “approved gas stations” everywhere with an emergency service for those “believers” who run out of gas and are stranded. He makes more money off of them. So rather than leaving gas gauges in the car, he makes money building gas stations every mile and has a “rescue service” that brings gas to stranded believers, but at a high price per serving. Others you have persuaded have car accidents as their hood top heavy cars tip over on turns, over bridges, or cause collisions because of reduced visibility. You don’t notice because you feel “empowered.” Even though your car no longer performs as it once did, you feel good because “you are in control” and “have the answers.” You sneer at idiots who are still driving their unmodified Porsches. You mock when you are with your friends the vacant stupid smiles on their faces because they “just enjoy driving their cars” and ‘don’t know that they could do better; they don’t know the truth!” You even take pictures of other Porsche drivers in embarrassing positions, or looking especially dumb, to show to other potential believers that this is how stupid and crass are the “unenlightened” Porsche drivers. Your friend teaches you how to make money for yourself and the organization.

And one day you are driving and “BANG!” Your car explodes from gas fumes and you are dead. And before you know it you are facing God and find yourself in hell, because you are responsible for all the others you persuaded to remove their fuel gauges and leave the sensor gas tank holes unplugged.

Friends, your bodies and your minds are like the Porsche car and driver. These stupid technical stress tests and E-meters and other tools used by Scientology are used to numb, warp and overcome your body’s own healthy functioning and survival instincts. The more you are taught to numb and not react to “stresses” the more you are teaching your body’s white cells not to react to disease. The more you are taught to numb and not react to “stresses” the more you are taught to micromanage the body functions that you are focusing on, and reduce blood flow to the parts of your body and mind you just are not focused on. The more you are taught to numb and not react to “stresses” the more you are ignoring signs of pain or disorder that the body is trying to send to you so that they can be addressed and fixed while there is still time to treat a disease. The more you are taught to numb and not react to “stresses” the more you are trying to cleanse out hormonal and other bodily functions that you must have in order to survive by suppressing them thinking they are “bad.” The more you are taught to numb and not react to “stresses” the more you reinforce mental and bodily pathways that are unfavorable to survival, and allow atrophying the pathways and bodily functions that allow you maximum health and survival potentiality. The more you are taught to numb and not react to “stresses” the more you are stressing the bodily cells and nerve endings that you are focusing on “distressing,” since you are hindering them from doing their jobs. For example, adrenaline flow becomes hindered because some of the symptoms of adrenaline are viewed as “stressful.” So your body does not produce adrenaline when it should and/or it has to send the adrenaline to inappropriate places in your body, where it acts like a toxic acid. The more you are “purging” and “cleansing” the more you are sending your gas fumes out of the tank and into the car into random spots. The more areas you “remove stress from” the more you spray your brake fluid into the spark plugs, your oil into your fuel tank, your exhaust fumes into the passenger compartment, your windshield wiper fluid into your trunk to spew over your possessions and emergency tire changing kit. Of course your spare tire no longer matters or works because you were told that the E-meter indicates your spare tire was “too fat and therefore stressed” so you let the air out of your Porsche’s spare tire.

There has never been any validity to any “biofeedback” or other technical device. In fact, they are all harmful. They “feel good” because you think you are empowering yourself. I could have gotten the same effects if I told people that all stress comes from canned pineapples. Once people think that the stress in their life comes from canned pineapples, they feel empowered. They can avoid that aisle in the store. They can demonize the number of the aisle where canned pineapples are found at the local supermarket. They can “wisely” and “sagely” tell others of the evil of pineapples. They can sell special hemp aprons that are “anti-canned pineapple wave detectors” so that when people go into grocery stores they can wear these aprons if they must walk down the aisle where the canned pineapples are from. They feel less stress about their real problems, because now they are distracted in the war against canned pineapples (and the top guys make money off the aprons and other tools). When the canned pineapple people go out of business ,you nod wisely knowing you defeated some aliens. And you feel much less stress and when you do feel stress, you know it is the stress of the warrior, the one who “knows the truth” and “must fight the fight against the evil canned pineapple alien proliferators.” And then one day the true problems in your life that you had been feeling legitimate stress over strike you down and perhaps kill you, because you neglected, and even fought, your own body and mind’s attempts to warn you of the problems.

Technical devices destroy your body and your mind’s workings. I use the pineapple example for a reason. Traditionally the pineapple is a historic sign of hospitality and greeting. It tastes great and provides vitamin C. Stress tests and E-meters and other devices are just like taking a healthy symbol of hospitality and demonizing it. They make as much “sense” as declaring that a fruit that is a sign of health and abundance is a “hidden demon” in the body “causing stress.” When you fall prey to these so called technical tools you might as well declare war on breathing, white blood cell counts, vitamin C, hospitality and the chi flow within the body. I include the chi flow example for the benefit of legitimate Chinese medicine practitioners. They especially should appreciate what I am saying, as the use of Scientology devices is like telling the chi that it should not flow in the natural places it has always flowed in the body because chi “causes stress.” I mean, gosh it is so unfair, the chi flows where it has for millions of years, but other parts of the body are “deprived” and so let’s take the chi from where it should go and send it to the rectum to “expel it” in a “purging way.” I wish I was exaggerating or joking but I’m not.

The stress test in the street is the beginning of telling your body to become dysfunctional, rather than correct it. The stress test is the beginning because it doesn’t just hook you into an expensive scam, but it is the beginning of dark and evil indoctrination that survival instincts of the mind and body are “stressful,” “wrong,” and “should be overcome.” Let’s give the example of the widely laughed about “silent birth.” You fools! What if the body has evolved over the years so that the woman shouting during childbirth releases hormones and body chemistry that both mother and child need for good health! You idiots! All you think about is your daft “the baby should be born into comforting silence.” Well what if nature evolved so that “comforting silence” suppresses the release of healthy biochemical secretions? Panda watchers learned something about this when they watched the National Zoo panda mother give birth and the tiny baby squirted out and actually hit the wall. Everyone was horrified, but they learned that this happens to stimulate breathing. Likewise the giraffe baby drops like six feet to the ground when he or she is born. Nature evolves each organism so that the mother gives birth the “right way” just as she does. So a woman who might scream and rant during childbirth might have a natural detector that her muscles and hormones must go into a higher gear to safely deliver the baby. Quiet is not always “pleasant” and “stress free.” Stress tests and E-meters and whatever other stupid devices are used by Scientologists and other cults are the front line to disconnecting a person from his or her own properly functioning body and mind. The first time you answer one of their stupid questions you are being tacitly brainwashed into applying judgment calls to bodily and mental functions. These are judgment calls that humans are too ignorant to have. Because they are cult driven they are demented agenda driven, and thus pineapples and fuel gauges become “bad” and ignoring your body’s proper function and diverting its good health toward warped purpose is “good.” RUN don’t walk away from this crap.

Scientologists exposed to dangerous asbestos

This is a really serious problem. Apparently their ship has been full of the most dangerous sort of asbestos for over twenty years. A house I once owned had asbestos and we had it removed as soon as we discovered the danger, and it was the "safer" variety of asbestos. To knowingly leave it in there is unthinkably cruel and irresponsible.

Think of all the celebrities who have been on that ship, plus the average Joes and Marys who may have a cancer causing time bomb in their bodies. Some articles report that locals have had seamanship skills training on that ship, and they are not even involved with $cientology. There also have been conferences with guests, workers, chefs and so forth. Thousands of people seem to have been exposed. I wonder what will happen.

More help to avoid and detox from cults

One reason that many young people and adults fall into cults, such as Scientology, is that they lack proper grounding and education in facts of science. People, despite all the “progress” and “education” available in schools are in less possession of facts of life than just about any generation before. When one does not understand the physical, real biological world, one is more prone to imagine occult and spiritual forces as the “explanation” for “phenomenon” and wild speculations about the “real origins of humans” and “aliens.” Here is the analogy. Suppose you lived in a world where you never actually saw a McDonalds or a Burger King, but someone just brought you one whenever you felt like it. If you never read the news, never drove a car, and never cooked a burger for yourself, you could imagine some really crazy stuff about where the burger came from, where your gofer obtained it. You could start imagining that the burger’s shaped like the vehicle that aliens use to bring the burgers to earth as food for highly evolved beings. You’d have no clue that some 17 year old kid who buys his clothes from Goodwill is flipping that burger along route 90. So it is a real problem that many people do not understand how life and the earth actually works, and that they lack understanding of real facts that can be observed, proved, tested and explained. That’s what science is all about.

Despite what many think, the Catholic Church is very enthusiastic about science. The Catholic Church operates its own space observatory, for example, with a telescope to study space. The Catholic Church also believes in evolution and natural selection as biological realities. It’s non-Catholic fundamental evangelical Christians who deny evolution and take the “seven days of creation” of the Bible to mean literally seven human 24 hour days, instead of seven God length days (that could well be millions or billions of what we call years). People keep mentioning Galileo but jeez, get a life. Back then the Church wasn’t the only group that had problems with modern scientific discoveries. Most folk had one foot on old superstition and the other foot in the modern scholarly tradition; the Church was no exception. So the Catholic Church is very cool with dinosaurs, evolution of humans from early mammals, and the earth being four billion years old, more or less. Many Catholics are ardent scientists; I am one of them. They collect rocks, go on nature walks, hope to “save a whale” and ponder the depths of the sea, try to learn about the particles of the universe, follow the space explorations with keen interest and admire ethical breakthroughs in understanding the human genome and advances in medicine.

When you study the history and structure of the earth and the life upon it, both animal and plant, you have a calendar that has recorded four billion years of history that you can see and touch. There is no “imaginary” history or “gosh, I wonder where we came from.” You can see it and physically feel it. In science class you learn how to determine the age of rocks. So you can learn just how scientists are able to determine the age of the earth, and the age of specific rocks found all over the earth. For example, photos were recently published on the Internet of rocks in Greenland that are almost four billion years old that used to be part of the earth’s ocean bottom. You can read a technical article about them on Wikipedia at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isua_greenstone_belt. But there were lots of popular and easier to read articles with photos that you can search for that was recently published. So you can see and feel (and walk upon) rocks that were formed not long after the earth was formed. You can see for yourself how it formed, the natural processes such as lava flows. So with fundamental knowledge of geology that is taught (or at least, used to be taught) in any science class, you can observe the development of earth, mountains, valleys, land masses and the ground you walk over every day laid out as a calendar that is easy to read and not controversial. People have been able to date the age of rocks for many decades now. So there is no “magic” in the creation of the body of the earth, except in the awe of nature at work.

Likewise you can observe the ways of the plants and animals on earth. You can observe how they live now in their native habitats, and you can determine how long that species has been on earth by examining their remains that are preserved in fossilized rock. Fossils are not controversial or a fake because anyone on any day can go out and find one for oneself; they are literally everywhere. When I was in high school my best friend’s grandparents had a camp in upstate New York near a waterfall deep in the woods. We could walk to the woods and up to the wall of the waterfall. Any rock that we pulled out of the side of the waterfall was filled with fossils. I brought boxes of them home. They were mostly what is called “horn coral,” which is a type of coral that used to live in the ocean and is shaped like a cow’s horn. This is because that area of New York used to be under the ocean. The most elemental study of fossils have shown humans how the continents were once joined, broke apart, drifted, were covered by ocean, had sea water retreats, and all sorts of natural cycles of geologic activity over hundreds of millions of years. The Grand Canyon is an obvious example of a natural formation created by nothing more mysterious than a river running through rock that gradually is eroded and abraded away.

Everyone has seen dinosaur fossilized skeletons. Growing up in the 1950’s and the 1960’s I remember the heyday of great dinosaur discoveries. No one was running around planting bogus skeletons to find. In fact the discoveries were quite startling and not what fake manufacturers would have expected. For example scientists were surprised by the first finding of dinosaur eggs, and the first finding of the imprint of feathers on dinosaur hides. It was then that people figured out that modern birds evolved from the same roots as dinosaurs. I was there, reading the science magazines and watching the new with fascination as people were figuring this astonishing discover out. I also remember the first discoveries of fossils of animals we know today, such as sharks, turtles, whales and crocodiles, indicating that they were already existing as species hundreds of millions of years ago. Not so long ago scientists in China (who certainly have no theological axe to grind) discovered the fossils of the earliest known flowers. It’s called Archaefructus sinensis and you can find pictures of it on the Internet. The country of Hungary recently uncovered the trunks of cypress trees that are eight million years old. An early mammal has been dated to being 55 million years old. There are so many discoveries of plant and animal fossils and remains and such accuracy in dating that I have trouble keeping up with all the news! But I save pictures and articles of favorites, such as when they find fossils of whales.

And who is not moved by the discovery of the bones of early human ancestors. I grew up in the generation that was fascinated by the Leakey family and other scientists who dedicated their lives to finding the rarest of fossils and piecing together the human history puzzle. It’s a puzzle because the remains obviously deteriorated over time; it’s not a puzzle because something goofy happened from outer space. Any idiot can see how the folds and shapes of the earth formed, how simple single cell life forms came into being in the waters of the earth, and how gradually over hundreds of millions of years sophisticated life came into being as adaptations to the environmental cradle in which they lived. If they could find food, water and shelter they lived and thrived. When environmental changes occurred they either adapted, migrated or died out. There is a myriad of examples that can be studied today. For example, the Brazil nut tree can only grow in Brazil because it is pollinated by a specific moth that only lives there AND the seeds are successfully dispersed only by one specific animal native to Brazil. Life is both fluid and interlocked. Life responds to its environment (much like supply and demand economics!) but it is also adaptable and flexible, for example finding new food sources, or the use of tools.

And if you study animals you can see amazing things. One classic puzzle is how that a flock of thousands of birds can turn direction in unison in a split second. It’s not because Igor from the planet Clorox has implanted billions of transceivers in their brains to tell them when the lord Uga Bugga wants them to turn to the right and fly to coo coo land. It’s because life is marvelous and has enormous variability, talents and complexity that have developed over an incredibly slow and undisturbed process over hundreds of millions of years. As more people study animals and plants and have more sophisticated tools (I remember when the electron microscope was a brand new invented tool, for example plus, obviously, computers) they are able to understand the way and the how that animals (and plants) have marvelous capabilities. Just because they are marvelous and awe inspiring does not mean that it is the result of crazy imaginary aliens with “great powers” (said with ominous and industrial music tones). Life is marvelous, but it is not mysterious. Humans are marvelous, but they are not mysterious. A migraine headache is a really bad headache that we have not yet found the cause of or the cure for, but it’s not mysterious.

If children (and adults) received the information and fact based proper education that they should have, many fewer of them would be vulnerable to crazy and exploitive cults. It’s no coincidence that when people had to get up every day and dig around in the dirt for their daily food that they didn’t have a lot of “issues.” Reality is reality, and when you lose your grip on reality you let other people fill the vacuum with exploitive paranoid bilge. When you let your head be empty of knowledge and facts you let mean and demented people puke into your brain to fill up the empty space instead. The great Catholic saints repeatedly reminded people that they need both “faith and reason.” “Reason” means learning and facts (I mention this because nowadays many think of the word “reason” as only indicating explanation or the “why” of something happening. The traditional definition of reason means using brain power to think and learn the facts of a matter). So even the holy people in the Catholic tradition taught that not only are God (faith) and science (reason) compatible and not at odds with each other, but they are actually both necessary in the total man or woman. People who are all airy fairy and “spiritual” are not correct or complete. Likewise people who are all dry science are not correct or complete (the hunger to find God is natural and inborn in humans). So whether you are an academic or an average person who just wants to have fun, you really need to have a firm and realistic grounding in science and the reality of the world. When you are learned enough to understand how the earth and life came about, even in the most general terms, you are not prone to look for crazy scenarios full of drama, oppression, and dark forces to explain simple things like depression, stress, headaches or angst. Which makes more sense? If someone is depressed might they have a food or vitamin deficiency, a thyroid imbalance, or an insufficient level of vocation, hope or happiness? Or the depressed person needs to give lots of money to someone else and believe that aardvarks from Antares have taken over their minds and they feel naked and hence depressed without their scales? It would be funny if it hasn’t been so very awful for humans, and all at their own doing. Never have people possessed so much resources, factual understanding of the world, mastery over its resources, and yet have fallen away from “faith and reason” for absolutely no reason at all.

Those of you, who have lost your family members to cults, if you have any contact with them, try to stimulate an interest in science and nature. There is a calming and educational advantage to reading books that are about the realities and facts of science and nature. Even picture books of wildlife photographs, landscapes and so forth can have a small but helpful nudge toward reconnecting with the reality that is earth and life on earth. Pet books are not helpful because some cultists have even contaminated people’s perceptions of pets as having a role in their crazy theology of “spirit beings.” Animals are marvelous, insightful and spiritual (read Genesis) but they are not players in the crazy drama of the High Lord Snub Nosed Rat who reigns throughout the mystical spheres of the anal rings of time. I sometimes think the best detox from cults would come from putting a person in a cabin with only the food they can gather for a year. There is nothing like having one’s feet on the ground and not being in a fantasy land to restore awareness and critical thinking. Watching a turtle in a lake, for example, and knowing that turtles have been doing the same darn successful activity for tens of millions of years tends to take the imaginary drama out of pondering the nature of life. Being alone is helpful for people who suffer from smarty pants complex, which many cultists have. Without an audience, control freaks have to get real again about their own life and eventual death. That is real death, and not an imaginary death. People who have to raise their own food and make it day to day tend not to have too many “out of body” experiences.

I hope that this is helpful to those who read this blog posting. Parents, remember that science is an antidote and protective for your children against the bullshit artists. You are not doing your jobs if you let your kids get “street cred” for bullshit, but not “reality cred” for how the earth and life came into being and the reality of physical cause and effect.

Scientology expose: recommended article

http://www.villagevoice.com/news/0815,celebrity%20denounces%20scientology,411801,2.html/1

Scientology is everyone's problem, not just a problem for those who were caught up in its insane practices and their families. I know because Scientologists came gunning after me, and I knew nothing about their existence and had certainly done nothing to harm them. I discovered that they force strangers to perform acts in their imaginary religious drama, and they destroy the lives of people who never chose to be part of them.

So my applause to Mr. Beghe and I hope that many more follow his course to honesty and back to sanity.

Hell is real.
