How far along people would be with fighting disease and illness, especially in children, if all the money that people spent on addictive drug abuse over the past thirty years, say, had gone to medical research instead. Instead of having that dope you would throw the money that would have gone to that into a medical charity? I often think of this and have a pretty good idea what a totally different nation this would have been.
