Talk show host promotes misunderstanding

There's a talk show host who I am fond of, although I often cringe at what he says. Lately I've worried he's headed for a nervous breakdown. Anyway, he said something today I must address because like the babies that cry during diaper changing, I realize that people have become MORE ignorant of their own human natures, rather than "more enlightened" or "educated" over time.

This guy was reporting on the strange suicide reported by Israeli press by one of their border guards during the departure of the French President and his wife. I'm not very interested in the details of what actually happened and the conspiracy theory part of the broadcast. But he took a very mean and cheap swipe at the French President's wife panicking and running up the airplane stairs "ahead of her husband," basically called her a tramp and a coward (like if there was shooting she's supposed to stand by her husband's "side"). By the way, anyone who is not a moron and who knows about security would know that is a terrible tactic that increases the danger. A spouse is a great way to get to the intended assassination target and worse, her becoming a hostage is every security detail's worse nightmare. My ex husband and I, both of us being martial arts enthusiasts, discussed this often. Getting the wife to safety as soon as possible actually keeps him safer also. But here is the incredible part. This talk show host trashed Jackie Kennedy for panicking when JFK was shot and basically called her a tramp who abandoned her husband also. About an hour later he backed off this a little bit, but the venom is not only out there already, but you could tell that he still was focused on these wives being "tramps" and "cowards" when their "husbands were under fire."

This is so outrageous on so many levels, but I'm going to stick to the educational high road.

Women have evolved through the centuries and eons to FLEE when there is a threat because they must protect their wombs and their children. So, Jackie should have gotten a bullet in the head to show that she's "loyal" and her children then become orphans? This is so outrageous and insane that I'm sometimes wondering if people no longer even believe they exist anymore and think they are just some cartoon buffoons saying the worst things they can think of in order to self validate a shock existence. Wow, are humans F***ed and in lots of trouble, at risk of their sanity and souls.

Back in the 1980's I knew a "power couple" with two children. They never flew on the same plane when going on vacation or other travel because they feared that if there was an accident that their children would be orphaned. So they split tickets where one parent would go with one child per plane. I thought that was perfectly rational and understandable, although sure, many would quote statistics about safety and so forth.

Now, according to this talk show host, I guess that if that wife was a "real woman" she would want to crash on the same plane if, GOD FORBID, an accident had actually really happened, and then left the children without both parents.

How has society become so anti-mother instincts and so hostile toward its own human nature? A woman is NOT a woman by 1) pretending to be some stupid anime figure doing phony kung fu or 2) letting herself also become a target or bargaining chip when her spouse is in danger or 3) letting herself "get killed" to be "loyal" to her "husband," leaving behind babies and children who need their mother.

Please do me a favor and try to become sane as soon as possible. I despair of the mean moron mentality of so much of humans.
