Why Jesus Did Not Manifest All God's Knowledge

People often wonder, if Jesus was Son of God through the Holy and Spirit, and knew God's mind, why Jesus was not "all knowing." They point to places in the scriptures where he had to be told things on some occasions, while on other occasions he knew of events outside of his knowing. The answer is quite simple if you think about it. God cannot take on a human form in his totality. Let's look at some obvious simple scenarios to illustrate this concept, if Jesus were totally encompassing God within his body. He'd know how many atoms of what charge, orientation, and motion are within the bench he sits on, the benches his friends sit on, the mouthful of food he eats, the food they eat, what each atom is doing within each of his friends' bodies, how many bugs were ground up in the grain that they are eating, how long it will take each mouthful of food to digest (and whether any nutrition was gleaned from it), how many bacteria are on his tongue if he brushed his teeth that morning, or not, and ditto for everyone else. He'd simultaneously know all that information and more for every living being and every inert structure on earth. Obviously, one cannot function as a human being and simultaneously experience the totality of God's knowledge. Jesus was selective in receiving from God the knowledge that was necessary for his earthly ministry.
