Prayers continuing for all miners and family

My stepfather's father started out as a coal miner in Pennsylvannia, before the family moved to New York and went into farming. It is a dangerous work, and that is understood. However, it is also understood that business owners should not be so stupid and irresponsible as to mine in a way that the mountain's weight over the top of the mine cannot be upheld. To call that "earthquakes" is a lie.

When I read your opening sentence about being 12 and reading Greek Mythology, my jaw dropped as I recall being 12 I was just passing from Henry Huggins series and starting to read The Avengers dimestore paperbacks with the occasional TEEN magazine to "lighten the load"...boy....that probably explains why I have the part time job I do, and I'm not where I'd hoped to be as far as a career goes. On the other hand, I'm right where God desires me to be at this juncture...or so I hope. He's given me such wonderful gifts and blessings and blog friends, like you.

PAX,
susie
