Torture advocates: please take a vacation

I'm not impugning your patriotism or trying to limit your freedom of speech, but could you please go off and take a vacation for a while and stop whining that 1) "we need torture" but 2) "we didn't torture."

How about setting up a torture fan club and just watching some old episodes of "24" for a while? Or maybe set up some tours of the famous "patriotic" torture spots of the world?

Geez, your fifteen minutes of fame (more like fifteen years, though it seems like fifteen centuries) is over. Give your flapping gums a rest and shut up for a while.

By the way, have you noticed how an unseemly number of women favor torture? So much for the fairer sex, but we've known that since Eve.
