Gloucester fire destroys temple, apartments, kills 1

A person is believed to be killed in the apartment blaze, and the Torah was lost in the burning of the synagogue. Once again firemen risked their lives to protect the public and deserve high praise. Read about it in the local paper.

It was a close call for the whole downtown burning.

I haven't read this paper since 2002 when someone claiming to be Matt Damon emailed me and I checked this paper to see if he was actually filming some horrible movie in this area lol.
