Immaculate Conception of Mary

December 8 was the Feast day of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.

“Alleluia, alleluia. Judith 15, 10. You are the glory of Jerusalem; you are the joy of Israel; you are the honor of our people. Alleluia. Canticle 4, 7. You are all beautiful, O Mary, and there is in you no stain of original sin. Alleluia.

I’m not going to get in a fight with people who refuse to believe this doctrine. It really does not matter in the big course of events because what is true is true, whether people believe it or not.

I do have a problem with Christians who do not believe in the Catholic Church approved instances of the major apparitions of Mary, such as Fatima, Guadalupe and Lourdes.

I am not sure how Christians who believe that Moses and Elias at the Transfiguration of Jesus appeared with Jesus in their glorified bodies yet do not recognize that Mary, at the behest of Jesus and by the power of God, has appeared in her glorified body to counsel and advise the children of God when they have been in dire need. The Holy Spirit is supposedly constantly on the phone with some people yet they will not recognize when God has sent Mary on rare and profound occasions to guide the misguided humanity back to Jesus. They say that she supplants Jesus with Catholics, but that is a lie. Mary is speaking to those who are ignoring the totality of the words of Jesus already.
