Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers pitched the first no-hitter in Comerica Park history, and the second no hitter of the season thus far, in the Tigers' 4-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. He's 24 years old, and had his first no hitter when he was 12 years old!
Mark Buehrle of the Chicago White Sox had the first no hitter of the season on April 18 against the Texas Rangers.
Boston's Curt Schilling almost had a no hitter last week at Oakland. I was listening to that game and shared his chagrin!
