Baseball Talk: Orel Hershiser

A few days ago I finished reading Orel Hershiser’s book “Between the Lines: Nine Principles to Live By” (with Robert Wolgemuth) from 2001. (I’m lucky to have a signed copy, though not to me lol). Anyway I loved the book. He’s one of my favorite recent pitchers and I loved his discussion of his ethics in baseball and life, and the lessons he learned from his family, life, and baseball coaches. His faith is admirable and he does a wonderful job organizing and communicating the things that he learned that helped him to succeed and be joyful. Parents especially might find this book helpful. A+++++!
