Mini blog: satan does not comprehend eternity

As I explained in a previous blog post, satan and hell are "bound to the clock." Satan is subject to time and the Bible even references his "time."

Because satan has not been in heaven and could not exist in heaven, because heaven's substance is mutually incompatible with satan's substance, satan cannot comprehend the concept of eternity.

In this respect he is much like some people who cannot comprehend eternity either. And while eternity is truly beyond human's understanding, some people do actually have a pretty good harmony in their mindset about what eternity would be like. Those who are more harmonious in understanding God and eternity are not impacted by satan. Satanists, however, and those who are influenced by satan do not comprehend eternity. They think they do because they think it is a clock that never stops ticking. That is an error and is one of their stumbling blocks to loving and understanding God.

This is one reason why hell is so truly terrible, truth be known, because that is the place where the clock keeps ticking forever.
