Colorado fires claim 3 men, each father of 4
It is a terrible thing, to lose a brave man or woman who serves the public. But even I marvel at the sacrifice that small towns in Colorado are enduring. Two volunteer firefighters and one pilot of a fire retardant spraying plane died in two of the fires burning simultaneously in Colorado. As I read the sad news I am moved so deeply that each of these three men were family men, full of public service, and each one leaves behind four children apiece. Twelve children have lost their fathers! This is a terrible tragedy. Please pray for their families who I know are bearing the unbearable burden.
