Over thirty years ago I would return home from work and relax by listening to talk radio (Paul Harvey) and sew handmade quilts. I made two quilts, including one using fabrics from clothes I had actually sewn and worn.
Here I am right now working on a quilt (no job though) and listening to talk radio (in this case I'm listening to Wolf Blitzer on CNN since I don't have a TV).
Back in time in a very strange way, though it's another example of how a good and clean creative activity is timeless in its pleasure.
