Attention ad execs :-)

About my previous two posts. I mean really any advertiser could get involved in this. For example, even if you are designing a shoot for a beverage the set could have a potted plant, photo of a plant, or a dramatic single bloom in a vase as part of the background, just as you would normally decorate the set for the shot or the filming. But instead of just any old flower or plant you could use one that is matched to a botanical garden or preservation organization. For example here is a link to an orchid species that was declared endangered in the USA in 1989.

You could do something as simple as have the photograph of the orchid on the advert set as part of the decor (don't pick the real thing ha ha). Then donate to an organization that is involved in their conservation. So really any type of product or advertiser can be matched to a plant or tree, even in urban settings and so forth.
