Families with autism please read depression series

I especially want to call your attention to my series on depression and OCD because it contains much information you need to know in understanding the puzzle of autism.

Here is the most important point. I understand the mentality of parents and others who have children or relatives suffering from autism to try to find the "reason." For example, many have accused vaccinations of having a role. There is an error in your logic you must understand. You try to reason through "what has changed in the past decades to cause so many cases of autism?" But you don't realize that the entire environmental baseline for humans has changed in that period of time. EVERYTHING has changed and it is from that fundamental change that increasing syndromes such as autism springs. It's not like people today are eating, drinking, exposed to the same chemicals and substances exactly as they were forty years ago and just one or two things have changed to cause autism. To the contrary, everything has changed. Those who puzzle about cancer need to understand this too. It is not like people have remained the same these past forty years except for one or two changes that have now caused more cancer, ADHD, autism, diabetes and so forth. The entire baseline of human nutrition, chemistry, and environment has changed radially and completely. My series will explore examples of this change and why it is informative to those who are trying to cope with resulting illnesses and syndromes.
