Sudden urge for Cuban food with plantains

Something like Pinon, with meat, except I when I cook I tend to use thinly sliced steak instead of ground beef. I love Cuban cooking, especially if there's plantains somewhere in the ingredients. Well, I have the Emeril cookware (which I highly recommend by the way) but none of the ingredients :(

oooh... I just found on foodnetwork.com a recipe for Cuban Style Salt Cured Beef with Crispy Plantain Chips *faint* .... it sounds so good!!
