I don't normally comment on each appointment but I'm especially pleased at the wonderful news:
Bishop David Zubik of Green Bay, Wis., a popular former auxiliary bishop of Pittsburgh, has been named bishop of his hometown Diocese of Pittsburgh.

I wanted to applaud this because I used to have friends in Pittsburgh, and a godson, and so I remember the community in general with great fondness. Though who cares about the Steelers ha ha. The Pirates are game, so I give them a nod when they win.
