When the Bible speaks of "mysteries" what is not intended is to imply that God is keeping "secrets." A Mystery is something that is not easily understood. That does not mean it's a secret. For example, Catholics observe the Five Joyful Mysteries, the Five Sorrowful Mysteries, and the Five Glorious Mysteries. None of those events are "secrets," they are just hard to understand from a human point of view. God is mysterious, not secretive. We know this because God has sent Prophet after Prophet to explain his will and purpose, and how to achieve the Kingdom of Heaven. That's not the sign of someone keeping a secret.
The most common heretics, then and now, are those who believe that God keeps secrets and then gives insight into these secrets so that some can leverage those secrets as power and privilege. That is so patently wrong that I'm not even going to bother to dissect that argument except to point out that the entire Bible, Old Testament and New Testament, the life of Jesus Christ as Messiah, and the Islamic holy book the Qur'an all refute that God is keeping any secrets from anyone. If anything God (Allah) is awfully repetitive about his will, and the nature of the universe, and the form of personal and worldly judgment to come. God is mysterious and there are many mysteries, because they are hard to fully comprehend in their meaning until one is together with God. But no one has "secret" knowledge. That's the oldest trick in old Nick's book.
