Poetry about my natural roommates, written today

A New Yorker in Mississippi,
I just did not know,
That silly little crabs,
Run around to and fro.

They sneak round my patio,
Flee, and fit in the cracks,
Once a tiny little one clung
On the sliding door track!

This morning I near stepped on
One right by my car,
I shooed it off safely,
Rather than catch in a jar!
