Woman patient dies in hospital blaze

AN ELDERLY woman was found dead after a blaze at a Liverpool hospital.
Firefighters found the victim in a bathroom at the Broad Oak Unit, Broadgreen hospital, in the early hours of today.
It is believed the victim was a patient at the unit which works with people with mental health issues.
Fire crews were called to the Knotty Ash site just before midnight.
It is believed the fire started in the bathroom and spread to the rest of the room.
